Is Chivalry Dead?

Recommended Posts

Don't need to go on about whether it's welcome or not...there was a post in the Women Only forum about that...I mean, someone TOLD me there was...:P

But overall - is it dead?

Bottle of Jameson goes to the person who supplies the answer I'm looking for...

No...but it's CTD....(see the medical abbreviations thread)

Not the exact phrase I'm used to, but you're probably the closest right now. If no one nails it by tomorrow, you'll be declared the winner. Then again...does the post office allow you to ship liquor these days?

The Womens Forum is an electronic Pandoras Box...

...and you had to raise the lid and peek inside.

Suffer by yourself, Mr. Curiosity. :D

Yeah...it was a lot like this forum...minus talk of milfs & head and shoulders. Unless I missed a thread.

For what it's worth, I still know just as little about women...but man...I can tell you all about wedding planning...:):P

When I was 20, a hottie bartender told me, "All your jokes are about sex, you must not be gettin' any." :D

When you hear it described, it all sounds so reasonable... :)

I caught 3 grouper on the boat last month, one told me, "The bait looked so enticing." ;)

Besides, as a guy, there are only two duties.
Groom - show up on time and say 'yes' in the appropriate spots.
Best Man - bring the ring and don't throw up on the other guests at the reception.

All the other crap is women's stuff. What is there to know?

So wait...those are the only two duties throughout the whole marriage? Heck...maybe I'll reconsider...

I hope not. Nothing turns me on more than a man opening the door for me.

That must make things interesting on jump run.

Wow, if this isn't stereotyping, I don't know what is! "women's stuff"?

Some of us haven't planned our entire lives around getting married ya know. While some women still appreciate a man opening doors, what is most imortant is not the show that you get when you are dating (basic chivalry) but the sharing of life in general. I don't expect anything of my man but sharing the experience of life with me. If he can't get on board with that then, what is the point of opening doors? Big deal.
Carpe Diem!
