300 Days Smoke Free

Recommended Posts

Good Job! The first year is the worst.

As others have noted....don't think you can have just one.

(I'm at 9,415 days today..over 25 years of not smoking after 16 years of smoking)

Damn I wish I could get that far. I'm on week 4 of the patch and still fall back to 1 or 2 a day. I've been smoking for 40 years and that's a VERY hard habit to break.:(

Hi Lucky,
Congrats and great job!! Keep it up. One thing I felt when I quit was that from that day forward, smoking was part of my "PAST!" It's a line drawn in the sand that you step over and never look back! When I was in the Navy on the USS Princeton LPH-5 in Nam '68 I decided that when we got back from that cruise, I'd quit smoking. When we pulled into Long Beach and I was in line to get off the ship, I asked the guy behind me if he smoked, he said yes and I said here, have this 1/2 pack of smokes. I walked off the afterbrow and when I set foot on CONUS, no more cigarettes!! That was in DEC of '68. Still not smoking!! Good Luck!!

Must be hard.:P

Good job. DO NOT GO BACK NOW!

They say it takes 7 years for your lungs to heal.
I'm somnwhere around 11 years of being smoke free.
It's great.
I must've save 4 hundred million dollars by now.
What does a pack cost nowadays $42.50?
