Would've been nice if he actually filmed you more than the ground below.. :)

Still trying to figure out the hand crank camera while skydiving thing...:S

Austin's got very good skills...he blew my mind when he told me how many jumps he has! B|

I think I finally have it aimed right buddy, let's try it again this weekend if ya make it down. ;)

thanks for all the compliments yall! :$:$

In all honesty, all the propage goes to Skydive spaceland's insturctors Rory and Mykel. Those are the two that trained me... and helped me out alot through my training. ALOT of on the ground stuff!! They both did an AWESOME job teaching me to dive, and more importantly.. SAFETY!!

one thing i always think about is safety under canopy because of how serious mykel and rory were about it. Their passion for safety really stood out to me...;)

Now, when can i fly again???????? :)

It's got to be easier than that chisel and stone tablet you started with.

It would be really great if more people were as willing as you are to give to the sport and foster new jumpers-props gramps, but don't expect me to say anything else nice about you for a very long time.

I was watching the video thinking... only 29 jumps? Damn, I wish I was flying like that with 29 jumps.

Congrats. :)

It's a Skydive Spaceland thing, comes with excellent instructruction and positive reinforcement for everyone else at the DZ, also has alot to do with the single instructor STP jumps, we learn to become stable and fly our bodies quickly through this method.
Why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane? Cause the door was open!

sangi.

whole different thing... between filming a subject from some distance away,,, and Docking on that subject..
Better to be concentrating on the dive, accepting, that it CAN result in less than optimum 'framing'..
no big deal. we all saw KetiaO..:|

good work twardo.. it can take a few jumps to zero in... the camera...
as for eyesight, i'd rather NOT have one... tried with and without, and having it, bothers me, and can be a snag concern..[:/]

Rather,,,,video with a natural relaxed head position and ADJUST the camera TO the helmet as needed, up/ down. right/left... to bring the subjects into center...
especially for video..only.
Of course use a helmet that doesn't dance around on your head,,,, AT ALL.....

Ringsight, maybe... for spot on stills, or for still shots, taken while a lens is zoomed, to any extent.
and that... only after substantial experience with skydiving camerawork.

... how i see it...
