DavidB 0 #4 October 1, 2009 I'm just a wee-bit older than most "head-bangers." The early Alice Cooper & Sabbath music is more my speed, but I find most of that rather tedious after a very short time. In the vein of "here's something different" this is "KLAATU" from their first album. I like the very clean lead guitar, the rhythm change in the middle of the song makes me "head-bob" & the distorted guitar at the end is interesting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeUMpAy1NK0When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. DavidB 0 #5 October 1, 2009 Another relatively unknown group: "Crack The Sky" is from Baltimore. They formed in the early 70's & still preform a few times a year. Known mostly for their jazz-inspired progressive rock sound, their intricate rhythms I find quite fascinating. This is the "heaviest" song I could find. lawrocket 3 #7 October 1, 2009 I agree with the Alica Cooper sentiment. Muscle of Love is an all time favorite of mine. Others: Day of the Eagle by Robin Trower. Fuck yeah! Flirtin' with Disaster by Molly Hatchet. 100,000 Years by KISS So many more. Maiden. Priest. Slade. My wife is hotter than your wife.

LouDiamond 1 #22 October 1, 2009 I usually don't listen to this type of music as it makes my PTSD flare up but a friend showed this group to me and I couldn't help but notice how the lead singer was able to go from a growl to such a melodic voice all in the same song. She's got a good set of pipes.
