The funny thing is that it's not me who is/was critical of those pictures - I actually *like* those pictures!! Some guy just told me I smiled too much and it made me look like a lunatic.. I honestly couldn't see what he was talking about - I thought I looked quite pretty!! Which is why I put it to the vote here.. I've never thought of myself as extremely "intense".. Just that I have a big grin. I don't dislike my grin, but I think we can all agree it's very teeth-y!! I have other pics on there, but since they all appear quite small and you don't see my face that well, I put those two in because they're more "close-up", they're very "me" and they show what I look like. And whoever made the comment about cropping the pic.. When I joined match, I read the criteria for uploading pics, and it clearly stated that you mustn't have anyone other than yourself in the shot.. I'm not the only one who has cut people out of their pics!! At least in mine it's not an ex - I'm sandwiched between two very hot (and very gay!) men, ha ha ha!!Anyway, I've started seeing a friend of mine very recently - someone I haven't met through match.. As for the pictures, I'm not an expert photographer by any stretch of the imagination but I would suggest that maybe people don't like their own photos due to the method or manner by which these photos are taken. Appropriate lighting, appropriate setting and composition and most people would be very happy with the results. Perhaps the same will attract a higher quality of contestant.
