OlympiaStoica 0 #1 September 7, 2010 :4:3 Earl turned out to be just a hype, but it did put a kink on the weekend jumping plans - both Saturday and Sunday were waaaay to windy for my personal limits. Finally got to do some jumps yesterday ... and finally make it to my 300th. One 12-way belly (I went low ), two freefly and one insane 8-way "shitfly" lingerie jump on the sunset load for my 300th. Beer owed for 1st lingerie jump, 1st bare foot jump ... and my 300th. O

DiverMike 5 #5 September 7, 2010 First CASA jump First Otter Jump We might have been on the same CASA load Sunday morning. 5 people landed off and three of us barely made it to the airport property. Thank goodness for rear risers. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
PhreeZone 15 #6 September 7, 2010 21.8 mph on the wind meter when I was holding it on Friday: 16:0 Higher winds then I like kept me grounded a lot of the weekend. Still managed to get a few wingsuit flights with LikesToJump and the rest of the wingsuiters out at the Work Stinks boogie. Shot video and stills on a few Kirk Verner 10-15 way jumps, did a couple of tandem jumps and tandem videos to get things moving and then a couple of freefly jumps with the wife and Wingnut. The Work Stinks Boogie was a huge success!Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
kmills0705 0 #7 September 7, 2010 :10:Not unless someone calls me out on it! Work Stinks Boogie was without a doubt Epic. Met some great new people - Cocheese, Diver Mike and several others. I did big ways all weekend. Did 2 with Kirk Verner then moved over to jump on Guy Wright's organized loads. Did a couple 30+ ways with 2 plane formations. I was only there for a day and a half but I do have to say this was without a doubt the best boogie I have been to. Well maybe aside from Quincy. iluvtofly 0 #19 September 8, 2010 :0:0 Winds were a little too gusty for my liking on Friday, Saturday and Sunday I was stuck in manifest then Monday the rig I've been using was being used by students all day. But I do have a funny story. One of the TI's cousins came out to watch. I was talking to him while his cousin was up in the air doing tandems. I kept buggin him to do one. He finally agreed to fill out the paperwork. He said he did it just to get me to shut up. Well he ended up loving it and is already getting things together to do the first jump course. Sometimes being a pain in the ass is a good thing.
