I am not sure I would call that a game. There was only one team on the field! The other guys were just a group of men that happened to wear the same uniform.

JJ said in an interview he would not make a coaching change mid season any more, he learned that a team can't recover from that. But an end of season change was not out of the question.

In any case, he can't make things any worse. That team was terrible.

Of course, I am an Eagles fan, so I quite enjoyed it.

Ok, I stand corrected. The Bills are at the very bottom with an 0-8 record. I will be very surprised if the Cowboys manage to win another game this year.

I guess you don't remember the bobby petrino debacle in atlanta a few years back. You simply can't fire a head coach and expect the players to pick up a new system the new coach brings in and expect to get anywhere in midseason.

and with all the parody in the nfl, they could be back in the thick of things next year. Look at my team...the Bucs. Last year we were 3-13. Now we are 5-3. Anything can happen on any given sunday when you are playing the best of the best in the nfl.

I don't expect this season to be any better even with a new coach. I think bringing in a new coach is needed so that the Cowboys have a better season next year. At this point it can't make things any worse. Wade Phillips doesn't appear to be able to motivate this team at all.

Basically JJ said that, historically, when a team switches head coaches during the middle of the season it doesnt turn out well. Even if that coach comes in and wins a some games. It just sets everyone up for unrealistic expectations for the next year.

I guess he is really saying.

Guys, we are sticking this season out with Wade and you can shoot him when its over. We just wanna make sure we give you enough ammo to shoot him up good.
