Well, when you're sitting there
In your silk upholstered chair
Talking to some rich folks that you know
Well I hope you won't see me
In my ragged company
You know I could never be alone

Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the Queen of the Underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flower by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave

Well, you're sitting back
In your rose pink Cadillac
Making bets on Kentucky Derby Day
I'll be in my basement room
With a needle and a spoon
And another girl can take my pain away

Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the Queen of the Underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flower by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave

Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the Queen of the Underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flower by the US mail
Say it with dead flowers at my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave
No I won't forget to put roses on your grave

I told mrowc6 to put the lamb-kabobs back on.

I should have left well-enough alone.

(note to self: Don't try to micro-manage the grill. :$)

The last song in a *great* movie:

Quote

Burnett was able to secure the rights to the songs by Kenny Rogers and the Gipsy Kings and also added tracks by Captain Beefheart, Moondog and the rights to a relatively obscure Bob Dylan song called "The Man in Me".[42] However, he had a tough time securing the rights to Townes Van Zandt's cover of the Rolling Stones' "Dead Flowers", which plays over the film's closing credits. Former Stones manager Allen Klein owned the rights to the song and wanted $150,000 for it. Burnett convinced Klein to watch an early cut of the film and remembers, "It got to the part where the Dude says, 'I hate the fuckin' Eagles, man!' Klein stands up and says, 'That's it, you can have the song!' That was beautiful".

I spent the day cuddling with my 16mo old little girl who was home sick. We caught up on some classic '80s movies and had a nice day together. My day wasn't screwed up at all!

And V-day or not, that would rank as the best day ever.

Except for the sick part. :( Poor baby.

No 'Big Lebowski'?;)

That was from the 90's, but the Coen's did "Blood Simple" and "Raising Arizona" in the 80's. Both excellent!

I miss those days. Glad you are enjoying them.

I had a good workout after the office. I had a nice glass of wine with dinner. Tried to watch 'A Beautiful Mind', but it was too depressing. Swapped to 'A Knight's Tale' in surround sound. Much better.
I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..

But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
