  1. Except for my tandems, I have packed every chute I’ve jumped (8 AFP jumps so far). I don’t mind packing and it gives me a chance to inspect the lines and the canopy (something a machine won’t do). I learn more of what to look for each time I pack it. It puts me more in the loop of being responsible for my own safety. I don’t think I would waste my money on something that I can do easily. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  2. jtval jumps at Jean I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  3. Make it drew.jpg and it will I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  4. I not only printed my own log book, I also make my own daytimer pages. I use Excel to do my stuff and have the punches and equipment to spiral bind my logbook. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  5. Just before I got out of the Air Force, I had to have a liver biopsy done. To do this they stick a needle the size of a pencil in your side and actually take a piece of you liver. My doctor had never done it so an experienced doctor was teaching him – with me as the guinea pig. My doctor missed the first time so the other doctor stepped in and did it for him. Feels like I imagine getting stabbed would. I let them know I didn’t appreciate it, but, when you are in the service they get by with stuff like that. Still have the scar. 6. Well, the way he spelled it (pionts), I thought maybe he meant 130 pints of ale or something. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  7. The screen name from one of our own users is good: n2skdvn I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

    Have you...

ROTFL It only took four posts to get this thread hijacked. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  11. Either that or create a forum just for trolls. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  12. That was the point of my post. Any other information can be gleaned from an exit interview -- if they are so inclined. Two of the times I moved on (once after 20 years and the other time after 5 years) they never even bothered to ask why. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  13. Can't remember how to spell it correctly, but I think they were called "balooks" and they smelled terrible. Never even tried one. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  14. I've moved a couple of times from companies to pursue other opportunities. I always said something like: For personal reasons, I am hereby giving my two weeks notice. I am leaving the company effective (whatever date). They don't need to know why you choose to leave, only that you are leaving. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

    Tunnel time

That's the first thing you have to figure out to be a skydiver, isn't it? I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

    Tunnel time

I've been trying to figure a way to get to Orlando to get some tunnel time to help correct my spin problems. The Program Manager for the project I am currently working on was here from Florida the other day and during our briefing to determine how to proceed, he looked at me and said. "Oh, by the way, you need to arrange to be in Florida the third week of January for a couple of days of training." I had my tunnel reservations made before my flight reservations! 18. Dang it, Dave. Now I got Flowers on the Wall in my head and can't get it out. Guess I'll get a bottle of pop and dig around and find my Statler Brothers CD. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  19. I realized what you were doing, but my version still doesn't say he doesn't care, paraphrase or otherwise. And since the message (I think) is exactly the opposite, your analogy wouldn't apply. IMHO
  20. And if you refer to them collectively, I think it is the Americas, so it still doesn't fit. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  21. My version doesn't say this or this anywhere. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  22. You are not the only one in this boat. I can't freefall without spinning either. My JM thinks I have a knee low that is causing the spin, but even with video we haven't nailed it yet. I am taking a few weeks off before I try again. I know relaxation is one of my biggest problems. I am really keyed up with attempting to do my tasks. Just keep trying...that's what I'm going to do. Someday we'll both get through this. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  23. So anytime I want to disprove something all I have to do is cite some non-existent text! How convenient. Josh McDowell wrote two very good books discussing the origin of the Bible. Evidence That Demands A Verdict and More Evidence That Demands A Verdict. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
  24. I used to sit on top of my hooch at Tuy Hoa and watch Puff. You could hear a constanty buzzing sound as he made his orbit and you could see the constant stream of tracers arcing towards the rice paddies. Twas some sight to see. We liked Puff. I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
