    Skydiving Sunglasses

I've used Curv Z sunglasses for a long time now. $20-25, some have foam padding which helps with wind (used for motorcycles) and you can put an adjustable cord on them as well to keep them on your head better if you want. I generally don't wear them with my full face, but I do with my open. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  2. I didn't do a tandem because I knew I'd want to keep doing it and figured I should just jump in all the way and do everything. A tandem is still a skydive, just with a buddy. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

    Working toward AFF

What really helped me was jumping as many coach jumps as I could and pounding out the tunnel. Once spin stops and roll overs are down, general belly flying in the tunnel is a huge help. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

    Suit for AFF

I have a tony suit with megabooties. Those suckers will never slip off and the power behind them is fantastic. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

    Tib/Fib break and recovery

I have a GSW, left ankle, all three bones fractured. By some miracle it was a clean break (nothing shifted) and the surgeon who looked at it for eval said I should by a lottery ticket. That being said, it was a couple of months before I was putting any pressure on it (crutches prior) with a walker cast. I can't imagine jumping on it only 4 months later. It gave me problems for about a year with any amount of high impact, and still flares up this day from time to time. Take it easy would be my advice (as others have said) and let it heal, especially if you are just barely walking as of now. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

Odd malfunction twice in a row

1,500 is really low for not having a canopy you know you can land. Was that the first time you looked at your alti during all of this? Do you know when you came out of the line twists? You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

    Beyond Excited!! XD

My first suit was a body sport that I picked up from someone else. I happened to like it and it served me well for some time. As for exits, cannonballs are fun, especially right off AFF. You're coaching from here to your A will cover exits (dives w/ swoops to be specific), so you'll get that soon enough. That said, being able to present into the wind right after launch and be stable is a skill you can't develop too soon or refine too much IMHO as a good launch can make or break a group dive. Backfly help

I'm flying an R-bird w/ inlets, currently, and I've got about 17-18 jumps working on my backfly (69 WS altogether). I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've got no outside video atm to show (which I'm going to try and correct as soon as I can, I usually jump at a small 182 DZ with not many frequent WSers). My first attempts usually sent me into a head-down dive, which I finally stopped doing when I stopped arching with my head back (carry over to get back to belly I guess). Around attempts 10-12 or so, I actually rolled into a fairly stable backfly. I took one attempt from about 12k down to 7k before rolling back over. Now, however, I can't seem to get back to it and I feel like I'm regressing. My tail keeps popping up (hinging at the waist) and it seems that whenever I try to push it back down, it sends me into a dive even without my head slightly up. Rolling with the tail closed and only half opening sort of helps, but only to a degree. I'm trying to figure out what I might be missing? Arms maybe not extended enough? Down too low? Too high? Chest / pelvis issues? I realize its probably hard to diagnose over text and no video (or even pictures) but thought throw it out here to see if I could get some help before I find an outside camera. Thanks! You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

    Intrudair wingsuits

I ordered my R-bird back in August and they quoted me 8 weeks. Came in just under 6 when it was all said and done in September. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

    So Excited!

Given that your more likely to get injured under canopy (or trying to get a canopy out), yeah, those nerves are justified. It's not the freefall or even the last 100 feet that will get you. It's the sudden stop at the end. You'll be fine though. Listen to your instructors and have fun. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
