  1. For some reason, I thought your saying 100% disabled = quadriplegia. There are numerous Amputees who jump.
  2. When I cough, & clear my throat. You can hear it. but it doesn't mean a thing. Those numbers are either just as meaningless, or they're inside data for L&B. I was told by L&B that Optimas don't have serial numbers.
  3. Who is the one you know of? When did they get their D? USPA will have the information you're looking for. Have you sent them a query?
  4. The Cossacks must be real proud. They beat up women ... I know it won't happen, but I wish the world would just up & walk out of the Olympics over Kiev.
  5. I don't do religion. I'll just add this to the "Doesn't make a lot of sense to Me" pile.
  6. What exactly is handling a venomous Snake supposed to do for these people? I mean, does the snake whisper spiritual growth in their ears? Or, does Mr.Snake not bite them only if they're pure of faith? In other words....WTF ?!
  7. "Airtight Pic - Biggest, prettiest Hangar in Oklahoma & those houses weren't there in the background ten years ago when we were building it." Nice Houses there in the background, & awfully close... Out of curiosity, do any of the Owners call & bitch about the noise?
  8. Can't find the story, but this reminds me of a radio DJ in Thailand (?), years ago. He was wearing a Buddhist amulet during a live broadcast, & told a Thai soldier to shoot him w/his AK. He believed the amulet would protect him from harm. The Soldier shot him in the chest. It was the DJ's last broadcast...
  9. Are You sure that's the case in Florida, too? Different States have different rules & procedures.
  10. Sorry Don, but I view your scenarios as being a million miles off. The insecure, fat Sack in Florida opened fire simply because he didn't like the look/sound of those kids. He didn't have the right to brandish, let alone shoot. I'm glad he was convicted. I'm only trying to understand the mistrial where there's 100% proof that he shot the kid.
  11. From the story I read, it was a hung jury on the murder charge. The judge sent them back to deliberate on a lesser (2nd) charge, but they still came back "hung." So he wasn't acquitted on the murder charge, it was a mistrial. And the prosecutor plans on retrying it. I saw that too, but still don't get it. Second Degree = not premeditated, right? Is that not what this Guy did? How can Someone be convicted of attempted murder for firing on people, but not guilty for the one person he actually hit ?? Was an option of Manslaughter what was needed by the jury?
  12. "Jim won quite a few of them but they were awful, so a lot of times they weren't claimed." Don't kid yourself. He secretly gave them to Noobs, to fatten them for the slaughter. Tastes just like Chicken ...
  13. Twardo & his ilk aren't known for being picky eaters. Don't tempt Fate ...
  14. I'm not judging the jury. I'm asking if the DA limited them too much in possible conviction options.
  15. Hardly. This Guy opened fire on them simply because he didn't like them. He felt so upset & endangered by the shooting, that he drove back to the B&B, & ordered a pizza... He never even bothered calling the police. I don't think you'll find anyone, aside from his paid lawyer, willing to defend his actions. Perhaps the Lawyers here could chime in. Who dropped the ball in this case? First Degree is premeditated, correct? Didn't the Jury also have the option of convicting this sack of 2nd degree, instead? He fired on the vehicle, killing someone. How the f#*& is He NOT guilty of murder ???
  16. Count your blessings, Dom. Back in Airtwardo's day, Noobs were made to buy beer. Then, they were roasted on the bonfire as a free source of protein . Nowadays, They just screw w/your head a little, like by feigning sleep on the way up .
  17. !! You have GOT to be F'n kidding me ?? Batshit_Brit Idiots... I'd like to send them a pic of some of my toys .
  18. Not New York . . . Gov. Cuomo is the dipshit here. The citizenry, law enforcement community and local communites/towns are deeply opposed to the SAFE Act. OK, mail him news clippings of Colorado's recent double recall votes, & see him in November .
  19. "...and removable replaceable magazines" Huh? They banned clips??
  20. That AR pic is too funny. Let me guess. NY banned pistol grips? Idiots... Serves Gun Control Dude right. Hope the Press makes sure he IS prosecuted, & not given a pass. Jackwagon.
  21. "They donate to charity because it is charity. The tax write off is a side benefit that lessens the impact." NFW...
  22. "Do you file a 1040ez still, or have you done a full 1040 yet?" That's rude, dude ... It doesn't lead to effective communication, Seaweed. "Because you're a bit unfamiliar about how this works." Negro, pull_eeze . Have You any idea of all the Hide the Sausage games that large companies play w/taxes?? You honestly believe the heartless companies who'll throw thousands of people out of work just to save a marginal amount of money, would give Million$ away to charity??? Bullshit. Their Tax realities are nothing like that of private citizens. They're either saving money, outright. Or, there's some kind of unwritten agreement where donating a couple hundred million causes the Feds to look the other way on a pile of other crap that company is pulling. Like shifting a few billion$ offshore, to a Country w/a much lower tax rate.
  23. I only pretend I'm sleeping to screw w/AFF Students .
  24. I'm guessing that Idiot doesn't have the pre-required 200 Holdups under his ghetto belt, yet. I only watched the first couple of minutes, & saw a few mistakes he made while handling his weapon. Good. POV Cameras are a distraction. That can be a good thing, sometimes .
  25. "Several reasons: (1) Diseases of affluence (obesity, diabetes, high BPetc); (2) Failure to access care; (3) Expectation that a pill will cure what they've got; and (4) Melting pot." 1 & 4 are very good points. The other two don't figure into it much, IMO. Unless you meant the inability to access care, by number two? I recently read somewhere that Obamanos used the argument that 30 million Americans lacked health insurance, to help pitch the ADA. Today, a different 30 million don't have health insurance, & many others are paying far more for what they do have... Has anyone done projections of how many will lose coverage again once the Govt. premium assistance ends in a few years? All the ADA did, was shift the cost of America's health care back onto the citizenry, & away from state & Fed Govt.s It's a hustle like any other BS that comes from the Feds. Back to the main point. I agree 100%. Having the Country lose 2.5 Million Job's worth of productivity, & replacing it by increasing the dole to an even larger population, is counterproductive by definition.
