Professional sports is nuts. In 1986 I attended game #1 and game #2 of the Stanley Cup finals and paid $10 for my tickets for each game (granted they were not the best seats). I find that the best technique for keeping the thread on-topic (whatever topic I find to be the most entertaining or informative) is to contribute to it.
