Bring beer, listen to your instructors, have fun, repeat... -
I wanted a Mac for a while and bought one like 3 months ago. I was enjoying it's beauty and awesomenes for like 5 finutes. Thats how long it took for my buddy to spill a glas of red wine from the back side of it and kill it instantly, FIVE minutes after I took it out of the damn box. He took it to Mac shop. 750 for the repair. He got it back, put it on a back seet of his car and when he got home his 3 year old daughter knocked it out and stepped on it. 600 for a broken screen and I'm still waiting for it. This doesn't say anything about macs but it's my sad Mac story that i had to tell. Most of my friends thought it was hilarious.

+1 A girl + begginer + nervous. No need to make her more nervous. That resulted in her saving her life so No, nobody should say GO! Go when ready maybe -
Get AFF in cold Ohio now, or wait and do in Brazil in Jan?
trig78 replied to AEsco48's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
IMHO, Jump when and where and as much as you can. If I waited to be able to stay current i would never start. No DZ's in Iraq either so i get to jump once every 4-5 moths. -

Well, here's another one that must resort to violence and doesn't have the social skills to handle a problem in any other way. Congrats, dude. Your post captures both cocky AND arrogant. NOT cool. [ -

I would say that, in your story, you made just one mistake and that is being on ''his'' jumps to begin with. I wouldn't be. Same as I didn't jump for almost ten years for similar reason. F him if he's a douche, or you think he is. You can have plenty of fun on your own or with someone else who's got some selfrespect ;) -
Is there a thread like this with female members or do I have to post first and wait for the replies.

I never jumped in Bosnia. Somebody mentioned in another thread recently that, in the States, student is not to pack rented gear for others to jump it. Pack job is calculated in rental price. In the states I only packed for myself as a student. For others i don't think I would want to, as a student. I'm not sure if it's an absolute rule in the States. He is from NZ so i was wondering.
-
Congrats on a good save Are students allowed to pack for others? They probably shouldn't be.

Arizona it is than. Maybe few days in Cali, it's not that far away. Thanks, Igor

Where can one get most jumps in january? I have a two week vacation in second half of Jan. Goal is to do at least an hour of tunel time, get some RW coaching, do a canopy course, and jump my ass off in general. That means jumping as much as I can for those 15 days, every day! It comes down to Perris/Elsinore, DeLand/Zills and Eloy I would asume. I'm guessing that level of coaching is the same, especially for my (in)experience so it's all about number of sunny days and loads. I have about 20 days to decide ;)

Same here, i started packing for myself from jump 5 or so. Under supervision but still. I paid for a pack job few times when i got my Sabre because i couldnt get it in the bag. Thats over now tho

Student will pull the ripcord to release the main and the PC will pull it out of the container. Those old AAD's were opening the main if the student would fail to pull the ripcord. It opened mine twice because i wanted to squeeze out few more seconds of freefall Also, AAD was set to 1000 meters (cca 3000 ft). All rigs had RSL. facebook.com/trig78

I did few jumps like that in Czech republic in 2002. It was called ''stabilized free fall'' and it was a step between SL and free fall. SL pulls out the PC, the PC helps you stay stable. You take care of the rest. facebook.com/trig78
