Being a somewhat of a newbie too, can't say for sure, but from what I know, Dolhpins are what you said ... good starter rigs for belly fliers ... as to it being a good deal, I think that would depend on what main and reserve are in it and the condition of them and the container.

never thought about it quite that way ... not sure if it's cause they're funnier, or my mind just thinks they are when it's in that condition. and also some of the most bent thoughts ... lol ..

Can only speak for SURE for myself, but I imagine most of the folks who posted on this thread are just as outraged by some of the crimes committed against people, and the planet ... but that wasn't what this thread originated as being about ...

as shown by my earlier post ... I'm an animal lover, and believe in treating them with due respect ... dogs who live at my house are more family member than pet, but I also eat meat. As someone mentioned above, to me ... some are raised as food, and I freely admit that I enjoy the meat. I DO hunt some still, and eat what I kill. As for those who refuse to eat meat because they feel it is cruely to animals ... ya'll just be glad you didn't live in this country 200 years ago! I'm willing to bet that then, you'd have been more than happy to see that rabbit, squirrel, or whatever ... that daddy brought home to have for dinner. Thanks to our "advancements" our society now CAN debate these things, instead of spending the time out scrounging our next meals. As for whoever it was that brought up killing people vs. animals ... luckily, I missed the draft by about 2 months, so didn't have to visit Nam and find out. But I am a supporter of capital punishment, since I don't feel like taxpayers should have to pay for keeping someone alive the rest of their life just because they killed someone. I only wish there was a way to be sure our courts get ONLY the right people.

Have the same feeling ... a friend of mine lives in an area where a lot of dogs are just dropped off (abandoned) and they end up at the pound, which can only keep them for so long before they're put down if homes aren't found for them .... I think they need to catch the folks doing the dropping and put THEM to sleep ... bet the rate of abandonments would drop drastically.

well ... from what I've seen since I've been on here ... OUGHT to have boobies in there somewhere ... but he DID say palatable for off dz wear also ... so ... there are folks on here from all over ... "The Universal Dropzone" or maybe .. "Need Altitude? Freefall from Cyberspace" and to at least imply the boobies .. "and you KNOW what happens at dropzones"

being on the newbie end of those ... I agree with the eye contact thing ... remember we learners have enough trouble matching fall rate when we can see you ... get our eyes off ya for a few seconds and who knows where we'll end up!

I always watch mine, if nothing else, just to check the battery level that it stops on ...

Being someone with low numbers .... (I have a Cypres in my rig) ... I completely agree with the "do as trained" concept .. I'm one of those who you talked about ... I want both on my rig ... and leave the RSL connected ... but I have no intention whatsoever of relying on either to do my job for me ... they are as you said .. backup systems for the "just in case" situations. I know that a lot of people with higher numbers leave their RSL's disconnected most of the time, and tho I know there are some situations where that is a good idea, to me, for a typical bellyflying fun jumper not shooting video or something ... just doesn't sound like that good an idea.

btw ... forgot to ask about your pie preferences .. ???

you'll still want to consider traffic ... getting to either airport anywhere close to rush hour can be a real pain ... would definitely use some care in deciding just where to live relative to that ... anywhere you can hit the toll road works pretty well still, but try to avoid having to use I-45 (for Intercontinental ... oops ... BUSH Intercontinental, that is) ... Hobby (the airport south of town) .. well .. not really any GOOD ways when traffic is going

I did this one for an overly optimistic neighbor ... We're the mighty cowboys ... our offense moves the ball ... Our defense stops the other team ... our kickers beat them all ... But that's just on this arcade game ... we wish it was for real ... We know it’s back to normal ... when we actually take the field Our offense it will suck again ... the ball moves the wrong way .. Our defense just flat won’t exist ... they’ve gone to church to pray .. Our kickers kick their own damned shins ... we might as well desist ... And special teams, well they’re a treat .. for the other team, that is .. But wait until next year comes round .... much better we will be ... Our draft picks they should help a lot ... they’ll suit us to a tee .. We’ll draft one guy to get our stash .. and keep him out of jail .. But if he gets there anyway .. old JJ has the bail .. Or we might try a different way .. free agents we could get .. Safe passage for our stash might be .. to ride on the team jet .. The writers they say that we’re close .. and getting so much better ..
