  1. I think the perfect punishment would be to hold a new texas state record event. Make him be there for the event, but be grounded. Once the record is broken he gets to pack all ~40 rigs while the new record holders celebrate Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  2. It's not something I would buy. A simple change to the shirt from "because Fuck you" to "because Fuck Yeah!" Could make it into something I would buy. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  4. In Australia when you get your APF membership you have to nominate a dz that you are affiliated with. State records require that you have %75 jumpers that are affiliated with a dz in that state. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  5. I wouldn't say there isn't anything happening mid week depending on where your jumping. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  10. People here always like to say that this is an unrealistic idea, but it seems that at every dropzone you go to there is some foreigner working on the packing mat, living in a tent, eating pasta and skydiving everyday. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  11. This a great thread! Really cool to see how some of the ideas on removable deployment systems and sliders people thought were bad 11 years ago have become common today. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  13. Some decisions in life are permanent. Like a tattoo, your dz.com user name will be with you forever. Most of the people who frequent these forums are on a first name basis anyway so your username doesn't really matter. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  19. Post your Movember links here. Join the Movember skydiving team at http://moteam.co/moskydive Hey everyone, I will be participating in Movember this year. My Dad is a survivor of prostate cancer. Some of you may already know that I am the spawn of a couple of skydivers. My dad was an active jumper and pilot in the 80s and 90s. He became less involved in the sport after having burdening the earth with myself and my 2 brother but still jumped occasionally. After dropping me off at college he stopped in a local dz for a jump. He hadnt jumped for a while and was suprised at how physically demanding the jump was. He realised he wasnt in the best shape and went for a physical. The results of the physical showed that he had prostate cancer. He had surgery and went thru treatment and has been cancer free for a number of years now. If it wasnt for skydiving my Dad may never have found out he had prostate cancer and I may never have had the chance to jump with him. Please support me and families team this Movemeber. My goal is to reach $1000 and I will match all donations up to that amount. It's Movember and the time for change is now. As a part of Generation Mo, I've committed my face to the cause and will be growing a moustache for the entire month of November to raise funds and awareness for men's health. I’d like you to support me as I fight the good fight. I'm restless for change and would love you to support my passion with a donation. You can donate to my moustache by: 1. Donating online at: HTTP://MOBRO.CO/ROBVADER 2. Writing a cheque to 'Movember', referencing my registration ID: 7251661 and mailing it to: Movember Foundation PO Box 60 East Melbourne VIC 8002 Australia Your donation will support world class men's health programs that combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges. These programs, directed by the Movember Foundation, are focused on: - awareness and education - staying mentally healthy - living with and beyond cancer - living with and beyond mental illness - research All working to achieve our vision of an everlasting impact on the face of men's health. These funded programs are spread across Australia, please visit the Funded Programs page for all the hairy details:HTTP://AU.MOVEMBER.COM/PROGRAMS Thanks in advance for supporting my Mo and helping to change the face of men's health. 21. The best advice I think anyone can give it to keep practicing on the ground while wearing the rig so that you develope the muscle memory as to where the handle is located. think about muscle memory like this, when you go to take your wallet out of your back pocket do you fumble, reaching around smacking your ass and back to try to find your wallet or do you just instinctively pull it out like you have 1000s of times before. Practise, practise, practise
  22. took me about 7 jumps to finally get a hold on the dummy PC handle. then I pulled it out and waved it back at the instructor to show i finally got it. Failed that jump as well think all in it took me about 12 jumps to get to open my own parachute. Just wait until you get to try to sort out that freefall stuff on your own Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
