There's the NRA, which sticks to teaching gun safety, building shooting ranges, running competitions, etc. Then there's the NRA-ILA - that's the political lobbying group. These two entities are distinct and separate. By law they have to be. You can't intermingle funds. Mailings from the NRA-ILA do not come from NRA funds. It would be against the law to do so. That's why you perceive that there are so many mailings. They can't send NRA info in the same envelope with NRA-ILA info. They have to be separate mailings.
