  1. wow, nothing about weight, or losing it... but damn at 0:19 of that video that halfpastniner posted, if i could get my girl to lose weight doing that every night... i would be one happy man!! www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  2. Don't know anything about the Javelin Gear Bags, however, just purchased this one from Square 1.. https://www.square1.com/manufacturers/square1/p146.asp#GearBag It has the straps that convert from hand-held to backpack. Couldn't beat the price at 50% off. www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  3. BTW thanks for hooking me up with that rig, likestojump, great deal on it! Was worried I wouldn't like it since I didn't get a chance to jump it during winter, but the rig feels great in the sky and so does the canopy. Perfect fit! Still have to get those alti's off you too.. www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  4. Given my experience I will comment on one thing in this thread.. I've drank expired milk = gross Overall great advice so far guys. A few friends that went through AFF with me last year (not yet at 200 jumps) are currently swapping around a goPro. I was asked If I would wear it to get them on vid during a jump and I declined. Im too busy learning other things and there is PLENTY to learn. There is a lot I dont know and that they dont know yet and things that we dont know that we dont know yet. I see it along the lines of getting a drivers license sure your excited to get it when your 14, sure you can probably drive a car at 14... but you shouldn't for probably some very good reasons that maybe a 14 yr old isn't aware of yet. Being patient wont kill you, being impatient may. I fully intend on skydiving well into my Golden Years which leaves plenty of time to learn all sorts of cool stuff along the way, no need to hurry. www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  5. Nice.. looks like Aerodyne did good with this one! www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  6. Just jumped my Aerodyne Pilot 168 for the first times today. Loved it, what a wonderful canopy and had some of the best, very on-heading openings I've ever had. Very responsive and light toggle pressure. Powerful flare but you have to dig deep. Just thought I'd throw that out there...
  7. My buddy is a trail guide for that trail, he says its pretty cool, never been there though. www.skydivehawaii.com shows that they let experienced jumpers jump, dont know how expensive or hard it is to island hop though. www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  8. This is a new company, these are more for snowboarding though, looks too bulky for skydiving purposes... http://www.reconinstruments.com/company.htm www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  9. Thanks for all the good recommendations guys! I'll call around for a bit to the ones that were recommended and feel them out. I'll be seeing you KC jumpers soon! www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321

  11. I'll be traveling to Kansas City for a few days to help a friend move there from Ohio. Was hoping to get a few jumps in, in a new area. It looks like there are two DZ's in Kansas from the "dropzone" section. I've read all the reviews for them, just wanted to see if anyone else had any feedback from either DZ. If I like the place I'll prolly stop in whenever I go to visit my buddy. We'll be in Kansas City too if anyone wants to have some fun with us, show us the cool spots to hang ~Blues We'll be right on the border to Missouri too so a DZ recommendation around there would be good too
  12. Take it with a grain of salt, since I am some unknown internet dude (most of these unknown internet skydiving guys/gals are wayyy more experienced than I, and; do have great advice most of the time).. However, "cheaper" is not something I would stake my life on. And going the "cheaper" route in this sport, may get you into trouble at our stage of the game, financially and/or physically. IE put your hard earned cash into your training and listen to your instructors which whom you jump with, they know you better than I ever will. Also, talk with the people at the drop zone who you will be jumping with regularly, AFTER your training. Make sure that not only do you trust yourself with your decisions BUT they also trust you with your decisions as well. Ultimately, those are the guys your flying with in the sky, and they will be trusting YOU to make correct decisions while flying with them. www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321

  15. My kids love it, they are little DZ rats. Ive always been a dream chaser, in activities and in business and want to instill that same "can-do" attitude with my kids. The two oldest (5 & 8, boys) are both enthralled with it, the 5 yr old wants skydivers painted on his bedroom walls.
  16. @ :17 you can see me walking thru the frame, anyways... that TI is awesome tho and fun to hang with! www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  17. Both parents know I skydive. Dad used to jump in the seventies and quit shortly after he started. Neither of my parents care much, even if they did I'd still be jumping. I do like them to know since I have kids and such (third one due in July!), but not for any other reason as to where to get ahold of me if they absolutely need to. I grew up about 1/4 mile away from a drop zone as a kid and watched people skydive my whole life so it was only natural to want to take the next step. They've all (parents and kids) come out to watch not only me but others jump too, its a fun time. I was always pretty rebellious anyway and told my parents about all the crazy things I got into. www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  18. McDonalds is definitely bad, but I think White Castle kills em in terms of grossness (called 'sliders' after all, yeck) WH is not nearly as prolific as McDonalds tho, so they may win out of the sheer quantity of grossness they serve up. Nice bar burger with some fries and a draft beer, thats where its at!
  19. Merry christmas everyone out there! Be jumpin with ya into the new year
  20. Sure does. Deals straight up and is good on everything and is extremely knowledgeable about his equipment. Got my first rig from him two days ago.. Been wearing it around ever since. j/k. It was awesome cuz he's local to me too so I got to try on a bunch of stuff for size and got some great advice as well. Right on dude! www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  21. C'mon, it's UTAH, it's lucky to be on the map. The multiple wives thing probably tipped the scales in its favor. (I love Utah)
  22. The jQuery Date picker works smooth in chrome, just checked it out.. Nice :) www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  23. Thats a great idea. I would help out a fellow skydiver whose services I was in need of anyday!

  25. Definitley hooked Captain :) Was hooked from my first jump. Hooked before that actually... I grew up next to a DZ and used to watch the skydivers coming down as a kid from my backyard. I am 30 now, so I did see a few rounds come down too. --HoldTheICe-- ..no need to Pm out here in greetz.. Get that A license!!!! I could have gotten mine wayyy earlier this year but took the 'solo status' for granted. One of the pitfalls I fell into was jumping at at a 182 DZ that luckily got a Caravan most of this summer and fall. Not wanting to "waste" the caravan jumps on my final check dive, I kept jumping solo and doing x-ways with the close friends that 'would jump with me' still being on student status. The later part of this year I still had no license and was signing log books with "Nick Bagnoli - A# 0" on jumps that I wished I could have signed with a valid license number.... not fun to know you can attain the license but havn't yet. The one good thing that came out of that is that when I was able to get one of the instructors to jump with me, I aced my check dive (+ 1) out of the 182 and not the Caravan (no turbine rat here, I love our lil beat up 182 just as much as the Caravan ;) ) (instead of just docking once, I swooped in, docked, L360, docked, R360, docked, 180, tracked, pull) as all the skills required during that dive I was able to work on most of this season. (ohio season, but un-naturally it is still kinda warm out) My advice... Listen to your instructors, they watch you jump. People on Dz.com can only guess about what you think you are explaining well. So the 'better' advice I can give... Even if its a cloudy day out and you cant jump, hang around.... you'll learn something even if you dont jump, thats how I learned how to pack . www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
