  1. take this with a grain of salt as I'm still a student too, just a hop n pop and grad dive left.. so close... i had floppy legs issues and at home between jumps had my girlfriend push up on my legs while i pushed back down all the while imagining my dive flow. about the only thing i can think of that it helped was maybe muscle memory for when i was in the actual dive to get my legs un-floppy so to speak. good luck! www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  2. had that a little bit of that pre-jump post-weirdness worry myself this weekend.. my dz just got a caravan in for a few months so i came out to jump as much as possible. first and only jump saturday was during high winds. My loading and canopy size made me not penetrate AT ALL. I had reverse flight all the way to landing into the wind. Got me way of DZ but still managed to maneuver past two tree lines and some buildings to an open area, PLF'd (in reverse). And got dragged a bit by the canopy and high winds before I could get on top of it. Got bumped around but came out without a scratch. There was one other person that hit the same field with me with reverse flight as well and we were being tracked on the ground so at least we had a ride waiting at the edge of the field. Needless to say that today I was a little worried on the first jump today too (definitely payed very close attention to the winds) but still got up there and cranked out my first four way on that jump

  5. Check out http://www.canton-airsports.com I'm just about to finish my license there, 7 jumps left! I live in Ohio too, we have a few jumpers come down from Toledo already. It is also closer than Xenia as well which is way farther south. www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
  6. This was one of the great things about my AFF training.. I retried level 4, level 6 and level 8 each. Each retry was for different reasons, but ones that my instructor and I both felt were good ones. Some were his decision and some were mine. What helped with that, is the fact that I am bartering the DZO my web services towards jump credit. That allows me more patience than some of the others that are doing AFF along-side me. Their stress levels just seemed a little bit higher most of the time. Now I am only a few jumps away from getting my license but I feel extremely comfortable in the sky, and am nailing all my card requirements. Being patient, safe and remembering that this is all about fun helped me through AFF. In the end, I think the bigger goal to keep in mind is patiently learning the basic skill sets needed to effectively save your butt over and over and that is what counts! www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
