Does Airtec commonly reuse some of the components? I just got my 1999 Cypres back from the 8 year maintenance. Apparently, they replaced the cutter, but I was surprised to see that the date on the cutter is 1998. So, technically, when my cypres will be 12 years old (within the service life), the cutter will be 13? Is this OK? Check the airtech/ssk websight for the real answer

In our DOD job the military "Leadership" would change ever 2 yr's but the career civil service folks on the "Executive staff" wouldn't change until they retired. So every time we had a change of command show we already knew there wouldn't be any changes. Even after the executiver staff started to retire they were replaced by other career civil service folks who had been "groomed" for their job for 20 yr's.
