  2. Hi Chris, The Rebel is suited to XRW the X3 is the same suit and has the skydiving type arm zippers but all the suit have the "Inni outy" openings so im thinking of merging the Rebel and X3 as there the same suit. The Apache is the old favorite for race and speed of turn, The Jedei is the test bed for the Fusion, The pattns have been fixed for 6 months now, its mostly about speed and the Fusion got the fastest time at the World base race this summer in Norway with a full field of racers, The front openings have the cutaway cable, I find it more secure, stronger and wont damage your harness, Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  3. Thats great, the more wingsuiting on TV the better for all of us, the more prize money too for competitions. Go Gary go Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  4. X3 is the apache Rebel (XRW) with the old zippers (over the shoulder) so the harness is worn on the outside of the suit in a conventional manner, yes, you would have fun in it :-) Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  5. Then I was told wrong, so who removed the video of it working correctly ? Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  6. Im very shocked the video of the system working was removed, I heard the rig that was tested in Elsinore tested way over the Limit on its own, I have to listen to all the crap that Ignorents like Marks COCKrans "death suit" but can't show my side.... why was it removed, how does that help people learn? anyway with the help of Bill Booth himself we have 2 new systems to jump these suits, Don't let the haters deter you from the new way, Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  7. they are a thumb loop on the outside of the suit, attaches to the cables of the reserve and cutaway, Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  8. Apache suit owners, Today in testing, we've found that the pull strength with the auxiliary handles we've shipped out recently on our Apache model wingsuit can be higher than the TSO standard. We recommend you NOT use them. Tony Tonysuits Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  9. Quote..and the pix Tony took of the suit at the PIA definately where used properly that is a lie jarno, I did not take pix of any of your companys suit,.. not then.. not ever, Do not tell lies jarno Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  10. We are now taking orders for two new suits, the X2 and the Apache X The Apache is the new Fusion but made to take your rig, the full on Fusion is coming soon, Introducing "Wing Forward" More speed, more glide......... 11. In BASE people push the performance to the max to survive, pushing performance to the max shows what you're truely capable of and what the technology is capable of.. In skydiving, mostly I see "fl0cking" which is not flying, but more so crappy wannabe "flying" with some material in between your legs and arms. "If skydiving, don’t do too much wingsuit flocking. At least, don’t get too used to it. Flocking might be fun, but it is not wingsuit “flying”. Spend more time hunting clouds and racing with other experienced flyers instead." Jokke Sommer Attached pictures speak for themselves.. You cant take a pic of someone that looks like hes slowing down and say thats what flocking is, hes doing relative work, that involves a mirard of possitions, that in itself is an art, the dude in that pic I know also likes to fly 6 mile cross countrys, and for that matter, Ive seen video of dudes flying past that road, for the most part they look like they have a glide ratio of 1.5 as there diving down to meet the target. this argument is silly, Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  12. Yes, the one time I got in a spin [testing back fly somth] my first attempt did nothing till I just fliped back face to earth and it stopped, Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  13. No, not really, not everyone wants them.. This is the american logic - The bigger - the "better", not the whole worlds.. Bigger doesn't equate to most distance covered and the biggest speed (which imho matters most in wingsuit flying), unless you fly in mega downwind.. There's a reason why most people don't fly mattresses in BASE environment (where you witness TRUE wingsuit flight). Actuly bigger suits do get better glide ratio and the whole world is "going over" base and skydiving if glide ratio is what your after, ref that spin, its why we recomend not to back fly your suit till you know the suit, he has been jumping that suit for a couple of months but maybe thats not long enough. and yes, learn to backfly with a small suit first. 14. Yes, thats the first one, the new one is called the R-Bird, same leg, new arm, new fastback butt also Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
  15. an X-Bird with Fastback formly called the X-Wing the arms had only one layer of foam in the leading edge as the sut was made before the second layer was tried and tested. Life is a series of wonderful opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations. tonysuits.com
