  1. In reply to : Jim: Maria along with the rest of the production team out of South Africa are currently shifting gears as far as streamlining the production process of the SG. They recently moved to a new facility which will allow them to start focusing on production of the suit. I think they are slowly starting to become pretty busy as the demand for this suit is starting to pick up. They are pretty amped about this. I have the order / measurements sheet if You need a copy , there are a couple of extra measurements that need to be taken as welll, but other than that all the rest of the measurements are pretty much the same as compared to any other wingsuit. Let me know if you want the contact info as well, I couldnt tell you the "jump numbers or experience" required for this suit , but I suspect you should be pretty proficient flying any of the other suits outhere before you consider stepping up to this one. this is just my take on it. Im sure they will clarify any questions You may have. Best regards Paul Keeping it real 22x7

  3. Rob: I know I know, Im just kidding !! this was a joke hinting you to come down and visit, thats why I put the "" in there. I also think your knowledge of aero dynamics/ skydiving is way above my comprehension level , I have read some interesting stuff in here that you have written , to the point I get lost. definitely I regard You as an authority when it comes to disscussing flight. and Im happy to be able to visit this forum and follow these discussions. best regards Paul Keeping it real 22x7
  4. Personally I choose answer a (longest freefall time) hands down !!, And Your statement about the pilot making the difference cannot/will not be argued, but it also makes sense to me that if I can fly "X" suit which gives me a longer freefall time right out of the box and its safe to fly why not. different suits I think are slowly coming out and Im sure eventually there will be different suits custumized for different birding disciplines, as this segment of the sport develops.. take for example.. a freefly suit and an rw suit with grippers. just my .02 u in this sat or sun ? weather is looking pretty good. 9. I know there was some previous speculation relating to the v1 not having a leg cutaway system. has Robert or anybody "officially" touched on that point already as to why the suit is not equipped with one ? my apologies if I missed it regards paul Keeping it real 22x7

  15. "A day or two later, when I decided that I too must pass through the experience of a parachute jump, life rose to a higher level, to a sort of exhilarated calmness. The thought of crawling out onto the struts and wires hundreds of feet above the earth, and then giving up even that tenuous hold of safety and of substance, left me a feeling of anticipation mixed with dread, of confidence restrained by caution, of courage salted through with fear. How tightly should one hold onto life? How loosely give it rein? What gain was there for such a risk? I would have to pay in money for hurling my body into space. There would be no crowd to watch and applaud my landing. Nor was there any scientific objective to be gained. No, there was deeper reason for wanting to jump, a desire I could not explain. It was that quality that led me into aviation in the first place — it was a love of the air and sky and
