  5. Hello Lodi is the most affordable DZ in the world. Standard ticket is $15, buy a block and it's $13. Now the deal is $10 a jump every Sunday! Bill is a totally awesome, so is Kathy. Huge grassy landing area, plenty of covered packing. The fun and games and "family of jumpers" feel rocks! Many of us call that place home, I've been jumping there for nearly 20 years. I was there the day the rule changed from "no wingsuits" to hearing the call for the "birdmen load" is next..... That was almost a decade ago now. Ever since we have been building the wingsuit community. Tons of people flock there to learn/fly/flock. Bill has his way of doing things you learn to live with. It's not difficult considering the freedoms he allows. As someone mentioned somewhere above, you may get one warning, then you are done. It is his drop zone, and he has the right to run it his way. And he does, it is "Bill's way" or "hit the road". I am fine with that, as are many, many others, obviously. Lately careless jumpers habitually land off = problem. There are other drop zones around sure, but the jumps are always more expensive, some even rediculously expensive. They all offer less than great aircraft. Not to mention certain DZO's are just not nice ever. Some drop zone are made completely of dirt, completely. Also, ten thousand windmills were put in places for a reason. I don't want to bash all the other dz's, as I might have to jump there once or twice. Flocking, which is what I do is not so great out the door of a kingair, nor a cessna, even if it is a 206, and the pac is just dangerous IMHO. Lodi is awesome year round with otters. Oops, I gotta go, cya. Avery ================================== I've got all I need, Jesus and gravity. Dolly Parton http://www.AveryBadenhop.com

  9. the word in the sky is that wingsuiting is banned @ lodi to me, this is the most upsetting news i've had this year believe me, i have had lots of bad news this year we have built a community of wingsuiters at this dz i hope and pray that the power that IS will reconsider punish offenders on an individual basis PLEASE do not make an ACROSS-THE-BOARD ban many of us call lodi home don't kick us out of the house some of us depend on this dz for livelyhood, and life what is life without wingsuits? i'll tell you, it's just falling ================================== I've got all I need, Jesus and gravity. 11. thanks for the reply and clarification Spot, like i said, i was just wondering because the OP said "submitted to the USPA" and i'm sure you are already aware that i tend to disregard rules in general anyway, peace and love to you and yours hope you are doing well ================================== I've got all I need, Jesus and gravity. 12. Hi Spot, I'm just curious about this WPC. What is the purpose? Is it just for student wingsuiters? Is it proposed that any wingsuiters hoping to fly at USPA dz's will be required to have? Most of the folks we all usually fly with have all these skillz. And when I fly it is usually not at USPA dz. Just wondering.... ================================== I've got all I need, Jesus and gravity. Dolly Parton http://www.AveryBadenhop.com
