I believe my helmet predates the Oxyng. Picture a Factory Diver with threaded holes on the sides for the flip up lens to mount. There are no "cover plates" over the mounting bolts. Mine had the "Carbon Fire" stickers as well. I just assumed that was the model name. In the audible pocket, there is a tab that says Factory Diver & Go Fast. The most distinctive feature is the tab and snap on the bottom edge of the lens. Remove the lens and it looks like any normal Factory Diver. I'm behind the bar at Sloppy Joe's....See ya in the Keys! I have an old Sky Systems Carbon Fire helmet that needs a new lens. Problem is, they're not manufactured any more. I was able to find one on Ebay, but it needs replacing now. Anyone ever make their own? I found a source, (tapplastics.com) I'm wondering about thicknesses, correct tools for cutting and such. Oh, and please don't suggest just getting rid of the lens and trying sunglasses. I'm doing that now. I'm behind the bar at Sloppy Joe's....See ya in the Keys! Muff 4313

I have Mirage risers as well. I just thread the excess brake line first through the top, then the bottom loop. It leaves about three inches extending bellow the bottom loop. Never had any problems. In case it matters, I fly a Sabre2 170 in a Mirage G3. I'm behind the bar at Sloppy Joe's....See ya in the Keys! Muff 4313

"I don't think that would matter for you. If you can reach the slider without any problem thats ok." Wow, I'm not sure how to respond. I never said I was going to go longer or shorter. I simply would like to know the length of the risers on my rig. Perhaps I need replace what I have with the same length. Without knowing how long they are, how can I order new ones? I'm at home now (I don't live with a rigger) and thought this would be the place to get an answer. The pros/cons of different lengths was just for general knowledge. What would be the correct way to measure risers? I bought my gear used and am not sure what length I have. Also, what are the pros/cons of different lengths? I'm behind the bar at Sloppy Joe's....See ya in the Keys! Muff 4313
