I have a blood disorder that does not allow my blood to clot like it is suppose to. My doctor doesn't see any reason why I shouldn't jump. But you should speak to your doctor.

We bought two a few years ago. My girls loved them. ANd yes they grew like crazy. Had to give them a hair cut. Ours came with new packets of seeds to regrow them after they die! We still have the molds but have not grown them a second time.

Try getting a parking ticket for stopping in a fire lane to pick up my mother that was waiting on the sidewalk. No that was a bunch of crap because she came out I drove up and the fire dept. drove up in their little car and gave me a ticket. I didn't even have it in park. I was doing a drop off/pick up thing. I called his boss and found out he is not even employed by the city and is a volunteer.

I have debated for two years to go back to UPS. The money was GREAT, not to mention the benefits. But if I actually sit a think..........there is no way. I went back for Christmas help a few years ago and that woke me up!

I just want to say that my mother just turned 63 and did her first tandem two months ago and a second last month! So 63 really isn't that old either!

My intention was to do one Tandem and then straight to AFF. You won't believe the training you get during a tandem ride. I would recommend tandem first. I have done 5 so far. (I know this is a bit much) I will start my training for AFF in January. Not sure how many more tandems I will do before then. If you have a tunnel near you then give that a try also. Hey, the weekend is only four days away!

I am a mother of two girls ages 7 and 13. One is a special needs child. My girls and husband have been very supportive of me wanting to skydive. It also gives us a chance to spend some time together as a family. They come with me everytime I go to the DZ and are actually enthusiatic about it. I don't think it is a selfish thing at all. My husband hunts, my 7 year old plays the piano, my 13 year old plays soccer, and mom pretends to be brave one weekend out of the month. So, I think it is great and so does the rest of the family. Keep jumping and include the entire family. Have fun!

I guess I have always been quick to point out the mistakes I made. Let's see...........I did my turns correctly, learned a bit on landing patterns, and canopy control! So I did learn a little on this jump and also learned what not to do. So I would have to say that it was a good jump. And was told I had a good flare for landing. So OK, not too bad. Thanks Jimmy for the encouragement. I will do another and will be more "alt aware" that's for sure! The Aircraft is a PAC 750 and I'm jumping from 13,500.

OMG! I totally bombed today. I don't know if it was too early or what. We exited and I had a hard time finding the pull to do the practice pulls. That must have thrown me off because it NEVER even crossed my mind that I hadn't checked the alti AT ALL. Everyting else went well but I felt like I really should have done that jump again. I did learn how to turn and all; I think I got caught up in that also. But gosh, what an idiot I was. This was my 5th tandem and I should know to check by now. I practically did it by myself last time. I guess it is up in the plane I go again, I need to build my confidence. It worries me that I will screw up bad when I do my AFF.

Money is really not the issue. I just keep finding excuses to do another tandem! So I do have my date set for January and my daughter and I will do some tunnel time for Christmas in Florida! Oh, and I know for a fact I can not do a single jump in December.
