when the canopy hits a 120 MPH wind, do you think that really makes a difference? the best trick I have as a pocker is to make sure that you have the grommets of the slider flat and the slider quartered properly... then once you get the canopy on the ground dont put your knees on the grommets like a ot of people do, put your knees on the fabric of the slider just past the grommets... that keeps the slider in place a lot better. I will never do a tandam there dangerous. I took 2 years off and went out by myself. Said I made my last jump in April. Just didn't tell them the year. My first jump was AFF1. It is just like a bike. I think you should tell "everyone" to fuck off! It's not their ass hanging in the saddle now is it. From the sounds of it you did as your were trained to do, you did a control check and felt you could land it, and what do ya know, ya did and did well. It's real easy for those who are safe and sound on the ground to monday morning Qb it, what a joke. Once under a canopy with an issue you only have to answer to you and god! Sounds like you kept your cool and calm, cool and collected will prevail over panic actions everytime and may make the defference between living and dying that day. I see you were under a sabre 190, you can lift your one leg up and push down with the other and make the canopy turn, while it may not be as fast as a toggle or riser, it is a good way to rest your arms and still be able to control your direction. Ask an instructor about how to slide your leg straps down once under canopy to improve harness turns. There are eight control imputs on a parachute, unless it's a crew canopy then there might be 10. f*ck them all your alive. Track high, Pull LOW!!!

It is the 22-24. It is about 5 miles out of Dburg DZ. Just enough time to get to 4000'. Once U jump, your in. They will give you a staff band and you can go in out of the staff exit which saves time because of the 20,000 bikers there. Dburg is the only packing air-condition DZ in NY with indoor shower and sleeping. The DZ is in the center of town we also have a Bar restaurent 20 feet away. The town is also throughing their annually carnival that weekend so there is alot of stuf going on. One thing I do have to say is I have been to a lot of wet Tshirt contest because of skydiving but the one at the harley veuw is one to remeber and pays out big if there is any sporting chicks out there. Dont forget "Killer" the Dz owner, he will make sure u have a good time. His flying experience are different then other Dzs and VERY SAFE!!!!!!!!!!! Track high, Pull LOW!!!

THE HARLEY RENDEZVOUS is coming up in two weekends. We have been doing it for almost 30 years now at duansburg. It is a experience. This is a triple X experience.
