to be honest with everybody,I like my gear,very well,I have alot of fun with the cruislite,its a very tuneable pack,and I like how it handles except when the wind chages direction on final(it gets a little hairy) and as far as rounds are concerned my friend pop has been jumping since the fifties any questions about flight handling I ask him,and because of what he has told me about them I would have no quams about deploying it,as a matter of fact I'd love to get a shot to jump a paracommander one day just to see what it was like,my only reason for questioning a round reserve here is that I have such a hard time finding anyone to repack it,and have gotten blasted at DZ's for even showing up with such a thing,as for me I'm pretty much a newbie to the sport,only been jumping since "03",but I want to be here a long time,and look forward to jumping with the some of you that have no problems with the older gear!! skydiver fall down go BOOM!!

first let me say that I love to dive,but haven't jumped in a long while,this is due in large part to the fact that when I finished AFF and wanted to buy a rig,I had very limited funds due to the fact that I am a single parent,I bought a very lightly used strong rig with a 28' round res.and a 220 cruiselite,the rig jumps awsome,but I've checked and it can't be refitted to take a ram res.,up untill now one of my very good friends has done the proper inspections for me but he's 74 yrs old,and I hate bothering him with my repacks every 120 days,and most riggers I talk to don't want to touch it!,I had another rigger inspect it only to figure out later that he had only "pencil whipped it",and I'm limited in my resources,I'm in north central florida the closest DZ's are williston or palatka both about an hour away,but if anyone knows a GOOD rigger somewhere in this area please let me know,I need to jump therefore I need an inspection BAD!!,and for those that are going to say"buy a newer rig",I just don't have that kind of cash flow,I'd love to get a newer JAV or MIRAGE! skydiver fall down go BOOM!!

Hey Art,man thanks for the inspect and repack,people may not use those cruiselites anymore but I liked it but boy does it open hard,and it handles GREAT!!,I've flown some newwer canopies that didn't dive or flare as well,I wanted to ask did you flat or pro pack the main??and did the main bag seem a little small to you??and is it possible to for you to pick up a bag of bands from palatka and let me come over to purchase them from you,I think they are 1"1/2 that is if they have a gear shop,either way BLUE SKIES,talk to you later Jason skydiver fall down go BOOM!!

Sure I'd bring them some beer,even better that I don't drink the stuff more for them,and yeah I did get to jump this past weekend at the concert,they had a small turnout(only about 650 people),I made 4 jumps,had the wind let me go on the last jump 30' off the ground ,over shot my intended landing,came down on knees and hands on the taxiway,only one scratch(more bruising to pride than anything else)but every one loved it just the same,I'm currently trying to get more jumping out here its a good size quite airport,and its lit!!,so maybe some night jumping in the future,sure I want to jump with other people,I have future aspirations of a skydiving girlfriend(WHOOO HOO),my airport manager has a nice king air and I'm trying to get use of it,I will let you guys know more soon,would like to jump with some of you,I have a few things I'd like to try(RW,CRW type stuff)BLUE SKIES!!! skydiver fall down go BOOM!!

I love E-bay,I bought an older centarus rig with a cruiselite for $300 dollars that flies beautifuly(opens hard as hell!)all in all a good deal,I'd love to have a new mirage or jav with a nice sabre2,but some of us are just poor white trash jumpers,We need E-bay skydiver fall down go BOOM!!

just wanted to say hi,I've been in sport for a year,although I can't seem to ever finish up my "A" card,I have everything except the packing sign off(even though I pack my own chute)riggers just don't seem to have the time to sign,I miss all the folks down in lake wales and hope they're getting their new hanger by now,I haven't had the chance to go to williston lately,I work at cross city airport now,have my own rig and the airport manager lets me jump whenever I want and sometimes pays for the fuel and loans the plane for free,which makes it harder to go to a dzso BLUE SKIES to every one,if you ever want to join me here in cross city for some fun jumpin,just drop me a line!! skydiver fall down go BOOM!!
