  1. Most of my jobs have been from phone interviews. Just like any other interview but don't have to dress up. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.
  2. Same here. Of course this is data mining, it is research after all. No problem in that. Problem is in why you would need names, both mine and others. I closed it out at that point. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.
  3. And that would be bad or they would not do that because? I don't care where I sit and there are always plenty of unreserved seats with at least two next to each other. Doesn't matter if it's in the front or rear, isle and center or window and center. A small child should not be sitting next to strangers by themselves. Several times the airlines have put us in emergency isle seats but still not next to each other. They know how old my daughter is, I have to specify it when purchasing the tickets. Then we get on they say a child cannot sit in those rows. It would be a simple enough rule to implement in their computers that flag children and/or automatically puts them next to at least one other person in the traveling party. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.
  4. I'm all for making you buy an extra seat if you can't fit in just one. I don't pay for my seats to share them. Now another interesting thing airlines do is separate families. Why would they not automatically stick at least one parent next to a small child? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

  6. When I replace mine I use brighter bulbs. If it is a 60w "replacement" I use a 100w "replacement" instead. Overall it's using less energy and putting out more light. In the garage I replaced the original 100w bulbs with 300w equivalent ones. If one breaks though you're supposed to leave the room for however many hours and then air it out to disperse the mercury. I still like the led's better and will probably life cycle the current bulbs into those later. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.
  7. Isn't that thought process backwards. Wouldn't a thief use a stolen account for so called "normal" stuff to avoid attention? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.
  8. I was thinking a good idea might be to use the CFL's in most places with a couple of the LED types in closets, bathrooms, or places you want that quick on/off if the CFL isn't good enough for you. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.
  9. I sort of did, Aerobic Sex Yeah but what would you do for the remaining 23 Hrs 59mins of the day? Anaerobic Sex? Step it up a notch? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.
  10. My problem is I have too many hobbies which is also why it took me so long to get restarted and be fully going again. Not sure if I would consider it a sport when I'm on the street but probably the only thing that gives more of a rush is a street bike, specifically a sport bike. It's generally faster, lasts longer, and more dangerous. A safer and slightly more legal option would be track days. It also costs more although you you can get away with similar costs. Lets see... I'm also into cages, autocross is fun. Dirt biking is fun up in the mountains trail riding. Video games with internet friends. Was into R/C's before my Nitro truck was stolen. Still love to snowboard or wake board when I can. A few other things that take my time and money. There is still plenty more that would be fun. The aforementioned Aerobic and Marathon Sex would be a great addition, or even any version that is more than single player. I want to learn Kite Surfing which would have low upkeep costs and have some good transitions to snow and land. Get another R/C truck and also learn my helicopter. Also got a guitar I have not learned yet. And on and on... - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.
  11. What about the instant on ones? And for those wit the led beam problems they make all sorts of varieties with different beam patterns. Some real neat ones too. I even think many of the Hummvees and MRAPs over here are using them as driving lights now. http://www.superbrightleds.com/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

    Well some might agree with you... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29552692/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/t/execute-or-not-question-cost/ While others obviously don't... http://www.prodeathpenalty.com/dp.html#D.Cost The second one at least has a more wholistic review. Both have an agenda. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

  14. Well I finally got to watch it and being it was an ad it doesn't count as Flash Mob but still nice to look at. And it started me on a whole new youtube line of videos to watch, only some of which I had already seen. http://youtu.be/52OBzh2khgU http://youtu.be/0iYmRyuhn9k http://youtu.be/zw2HqyI-QRA http://youtu.be/jwMj3PJDxuo - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

Are you paying rates appropriate to the risk of skydiving, or are you paying group rates that reflect the costs of a larger population that doesn't participate in sports with such a high rate of orthorpedic surgeries? In my 20s, my health insurance was as low as $59/month. 10 years of that doesn't even pay for an ER visit - a visit where they don't even do anything for you. We freeload off the greater population - let's not mince words. So do motorcylists. So do obese people, and many others. But it's pretty hypocritical to pick out the bikers while pretending to be above it. I'm paying about $600/month but that is for three of us and a small part is for dental/vision. That also does not include the medical on my car/bike insurance. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

But that's only for the hospital stay. It doesn't count the years a person might be useless and long term expensive to take care of with an injury enough to permanently disable them but not kill them. We can offset those costs by increasing the use of the Death Penalty. Why pay for someone's life in prison when we can just kill them and use it as a deterrent? These are people screwing up on purpose! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.
  19. Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this: The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing. The fifth would pay $1. The sixth would pay $3. The seventh would pay $7. The eighth would pay $12. The ninth would pay $18. The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59. So, that’s what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. ‘Since you are all such good customers,’ he said, ‘I’m going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20. ‘Drinks for the ten now cost just $80. The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men – the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his ‘fair share?’ They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody’s share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man’s bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay. And so the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings). The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings). The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings). The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings). The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 ( 22% savings). The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings). Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings. ‘I only got a dollar out of the $20,’ declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,’ but he got $10! ”Yeah, that’s right,’ exclaimed the fifth man. ‘I only saved a dollar, too. It’s unfair that he got ten times more than I!! ”That’s true!!’ shouted the seventh man. ‘Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks! ”Wait a minute,’ yelled the first four men in unison. ‘We didn’t get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!!! ‘The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up. The next night the tenth man didn’t show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn’t have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!!!!! And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier. For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

Says a skydiver. No irony there. Well I for one take steps to cover myself. I do have insurance which I pay for now in case I do need use it later. I had a boss once who was for mandating helmets. His reasoning to us was that he didn't want to be the one responsible for killing a motorcyclist. Nobody does but if you hit a motorcyclist and it's your fault, it's your fault. Why should they have to prepare for your carelessness? Not saying they shouldn't, just that they shouldn't be forced to. I think your stupid if you don't but I do have plenty of stupid people that I still call friends. I remember the climbers up in Washington state that had to be rescued and hearing a debate about allowing people to climb mountains. I really hate to lose any freedom because other people that can't understand or are too scared to think you shouldn't do something. Find a viable compromise. If you want to do something risky have an insurance that covers either medical or search and rescue or whatever. You have the coverage you get saved, you don't then you pay the price. It sounds harsh at times but that's life. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

BWAHAHAHAHAHH! No ace, they gave you a minimal license that allows other people on the road to cut you off, force you off the road and kill yourself. The amount of "skill" required to pass a motorcycle test is laughable and says virtually nothing about its "safety." This is true. I don't worry about myself out there but the idiots and jerks that either don't see you or actually do see you and intentionally cut you off or push you off the road. They're out to get us. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

That's minimum. If you don't want to pay for someone else's medical then don't. If you don't want the government to do so then tell them. I'm still for the freedom of choice. People can either deal with the consequences or avoid the situation but I do not think you or anyone else other than perhaps the responsible party if a multi-vehicle accident should have to pay anything. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

    Generally in order to be able to not wear a helmet you must have a minimum of x dollars in medical insurance. Florida is $10,000. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.

They do not have that right but you will get enough people whining about it costing them in taxes and what not that a politician will run with it to make a name for himself so he can look good and get re-elected to go on making more intrusive laws to further complicate the system and be completely useless and invasive. That being said you don't wear a helmet you're a squid. However I'm still pro choice, for helmets and other things. I also believe it is only smart and beneficial to wear AGATT and recommend it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art.
