4th jump i dislocated my left arm because i pumped the toggles that hard thinking my parachute was not opening right.At that low jump number at that time a snivel was a big thing and it shit me up. I steered both toggles with right hand and hit the deck not to bad under a large canopy. Out of action for 10 months, after speaking to everyone i could find how had dislocated in the sport i came to the conclusion that surgery is the very last resort. i went in the tunnel before i jumped again to give myself the confidence that my arm was going to be OK. YeHaaaaaaaaaaa

Help ,,,,,, i have the tg3 with a diamond 0.3 lens . when trying to get the cam to focus in manual as above it will not drop down to 0.1 ..... so i can not get it top focus ... i YeHaaaaaaaaaaa

I have a query I did my first tube jump last week and all was good. After talking to a few guys about tube jumping and seeing the video it came apparent that the tube i jumped spun in the air flow , it was allowed to do this by a connection between the handle and the tube . Now some of the guys said they had jumped tubes that could not spin due to the handle being connected directly to the tube's base ring . After thinking about it would a spinning tube not be the best idea?? all input welcome before i jump it again

Thanks for the info as i am about to get a tg3 and would be really upset if i didn't know before hand i would need new editing software . so i am now thinking we should get a list of software that would be suitable for the tg3 footage editing that is mts/m2ts friendly ( or should it be AVCHD (Advanced Video Codec High Definition friendly)) it sound like we could start with SONY VEGAS YeHaaaaaaaaaaa

OK i know we have had the 'what camcorder should i use' question lots of times but what i want to know is 'WHAT DO YOU CAMERA FLYERS WANT, what is important to you when making that investment ?? size ? DV in/out ? Mini DV ? I just came across this new fella TONYFLY CC1 HELMET Has anybody got one and if so what do you think?? The idea looks great and i was on the brink of ordering another helmet untill i saw this. Self confession I did a jump last week , great skydive good opening until i released my brakes and pumped them to check my lines my right hand toggle came off in my hand, canopy was flying correctly and i had time to get the feel of what input i needed to use my rear risers to land with. Landed OK with a little to much input and just staled a little. Upon inspection of my rig there was no snapped line . what it turned out to be was the brake lines had been finger trapped but not stitched or tied in a Knot to prevent them from coming loose . the right hand line was the same and just pulled apart very easy. that was approx my 20th jump with my brake lines like that . This was a brand new canopy and i was unaware of what i had done. i was lucky and embarrassed as i like to think i am safety conscious lessons learned. YeHaaaaaaaaaaa

so the slider when collapsed should be stowed ?...... when i pull it down to about my neck line it always comes back up a bit to the top of my head and flaps , I've seen people with elastic bands around there reserve top flap they pull there slider through but not tyred this myself as I've not really spoke to anyone about it . but now with the comment earlier about if you collapse your slider and don't stow it (which is what I've been doing ) i would like to be enlightened on the subject .. so please bring it on :-) YeHaaaaaaaaaaa
