I had Robert (Bob) Donahue # 243 (and that is his USPA number...just to give you an idea mine is 163303) sign my logbook back around Christmas. I watched him pack a reserve and heard all his stories....what a great guy.

Sounds like most of us were off to a good start. Now 150 jumps later I can safely say I haven't crashed one since I went up a canopy size!!! My jumpsuit still gets dirty just from walking...I know "Look where you are going!!"

Dang girls...now I understand why a male friend of mine always said his canopy opened with a left turn. They were hanging to the left!! Makes me glad of onheading openings!!

I love my Spectre 135...course I only load it 1:1 so it isn't a big deal but, it sure beats the 170 I had before. I do agree with you there is something about jumping new stuff so I understand your excitement. Glad all worked out for you. Mouth

Man are you in for a treat on Sunday! Ask me to see my logbook. Not only did I repeat dives I never stood one up until like jump #20! I even finally took a trip to the tunnel just to relax. YEP...voted most likely to ruin a jumpsuit. DO NOT follow me in as I can promise you I can find mud when it hasn't rained for weeks. The main thing is I love to jump. I think they are planning on starting early Sunday since there is a ton of newbies. What time you going to be there? If you are driving from MCN we can meet and caravan in if you like. Let me know. I'm thinking about doing the GSL on Sat...wanta go? Mouth

Trey and Tim (FF's) are the new owners. They are really excited, have LOTS of new ideas, and really wnat to make our DZ a fun place for everyone. (They even agreed to turn off "their" music once in awhile!!!!!) They want to do more marketing and bring in some new people to coach so I think that if we give them a chance we might be pleasantly suprised at how all this comes off. The down side is Mike and Dawn won't be there. Mike is going to fly for the season I believe...good thing. I plan on being there Sun. Sat is nuts. Some of the gang is headed to Cedartown, some the Rome, some to Monroe, and some are doing the show at Peachtree-Dekalb and nobody is going to be in Dublin. Trust me I'll be somewhere with my purple and teal stuff. You going to be there Sun??? It was good seeing you Tues...bad curcumstances but good being with everyone. Mouth

It has become a tradition on every load for the tandem guys to start it even if they are fun jumping (of course we finish it). I think it has a way of relaxing everyone before we bomb the door. I know I always go out with a smile.

Tell them you need to go for an adjustment. An ALTITUDE ADJUSTMENT

I agree with Dutchboy...our pilot is very good. We generaly get 13,500 or maybe even better. He is always there since he is the DZO...no having to call him in. He is also a pretty good mechanic which helps. We have Casa pilots that sometimes come in that are terrible...spot is over a field full of cows in the next county in front of a jet coming from ATL. Spotting from a CASA is fun...how far can you hang off without falling out???

Is this sorta like when the tamdem JM yells "Make room for the tandems" and we all yell back "Fuc# the tandems"? Do you all do that too???
