If that is the kind of relationship you have ...you need a new one. I could not deal with someone dictating what I could and couldn't do. Sneaking around is not acceptable... if you want me you accept all of me.

Then you need to start talking to the girls. Actually you have to find a happy center as a chick will not stay long with a guy who isn't her friend unless it is a bad relationship and her self esteem is very low. For me you need to be a friend, a lover, a confidant, a partner, and a skydiver. I reserve the right to add to this list at any time in my life. :-)

HELP!!! I just got some of the coolest pics from a friend about skydiving on my email that I want to share, but I don't know how to get them here. One is me totally....the guy looks at his VCR and thinks...hey, that ought to be work a few jump tickets!! I live my life based on how many jumps it will be so it was really cute. HELP ME PLEASE, and I need idiot instructions.

Unfortunately that is a risk you take if you want to develop a relationship just like in skydiving. There are always risks involved so determine if they are worth taking and if they are go for it....GOOD LUCK. Some lucky ckick is going to fall for you.

Smile hon...he is out there you just have to weed through lots of junk to get there. I've been looking for 3 years since my divorce and haven't found one that understands... and that's ok since I have made more friends than I can imagine in the process.

First Tandum...I had it about 2 seconds after we left the airplane. I have obligations as a single mom, but I also have an obligation to myself to do something I love. You'll find me at the DZ every weekend generally with my girls if they are home. You can't say they have "IT" if they quit. They only realize the small dot on the spectrum of what we see as the big picture in our lives.

Sky Chicks Rule....end of discussion. OK,,sky gods are ok creatures too..LOL since you all know we love ya. The rest of the creatures on the Earth are just there taking up space and contaminating our air.

OK...I change my descriptive word...NOT FUNNY. It just seems strange we can do some of the most daring things on the planet and not be able to take the risk or accept the challenges that go along with a relationship. I know I am guilty....wonder why we are like that?

Morning, Michele. It is good to hear someone with my point of view that if you don't like what I do don't look and shut the F&#K up. It is none of anyone's business what I do (except maybe my children and then I don't ask permission...I tell). I happen to have 2 degrees so education has nothing to do with jumping...I think it is uneducation about skydiving that keeps others on the ground. Can you imagine never feeling the wings of the wind on your face as it caresses you in free fall? Never scanning the horizon for exotic conopies? Never experiencing the thrill of success when a jump goes right? Never suffering the agony of defeat when you screw up only to be guided by those wise jumpers who encourage you to go back up and try it again? Funny thing is I was so scared after my cutaway that a freind took me out of the Casa after crying all the way to altitude, but I never even thought about not going. Once I was out it was like being set free all over again. I almost quite once because of something very discouraging that was said to me, and I was miserable to the point of tears. I will never allow anyone to do that to me again until I'm simply too old to jump...guess then I'll have to hang around tell war stories and drink with the kids.

I didn't say I was too old to learn it; however, it takes me longer since I was not exposed to it until I hit the workforce the second time around. Fortunately, I am willing to learn and have friends who often send me stuff with instructions as to what I need to do to accomplish a task. Unfortunately, it is sorta like my skydiving skills...I have to work twice as hard as those 18 year olds 'cause I am twice their age.

SORRY I didn't mean to get on one of my male bashing tangents. I'm not down on you it just seemed like you guys are the only one with the problem and trust me chicks deal with it too. But it is like several people have pointed out: 1. whuffo males are extremely intimidated by a sky chick 2. whuffo males DO NOT want their chick doing something "dangerous" (so I guess that leaves out driving in a car and sex....NOT) 3. whuffo males are jealous of all you sky gods and the time we spend with you 4. whuffo males do not understand that jump tickets (though we don't use them where I jump) and gear are perfectly acceptable ways to spend the plastic....who needs new clothes I want another jumpsuit 5. whuffo males have never done a kiss pass I personally love all the guys at our DZ...I can always count on lots of hugs and kisses from our guys which makes skydiving that much more fun. Skydivers in general (male and female) are just wonderful people. If whuffo's don't like that every conversation revolves around jumping, every video has me as the star, and every free second is spent thinking about jumping then they need to get a life. I like mine.

Thank God for the GA TECH pool. I know there is a bottom to that thing, and it is clean.

Watch it pal...you think just because we are chicks we don't take skydiving seriously. I still get the same rush as you do. I'm at the DZ every weekend (even when I have my girls). Most of my friends are skydivers and we hang out during the week. If they jump anything larger than a 182 during the week I'm going to try and be there, so don't think just because guys eat sleep and drink it we can't either. Also, there are as many single chicks at our DZ as attached ones.

Where is JT when I need him??? The man is a junkie...you should see him at the DZ.
