  1. I have seen the same on the site. Did you say anything to the Mods about there play? I'm sure they would have something to say to them after going back and reviewing the play on the table. With play money it could be just a warning but with real money I'm sure they would do more. I've had to call the Mods in people before for there verbal abuse to others on the table. 2. Interesting, unless she was just the poster of them I remember those pics being listed under her name. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  3. YES!!!! she was a DZ.commer I was looking for that pic and others of her yesterday to post. It's JumpingKayAus and she hasn't posted on here since Sept of '03. There were a couple pics of her in the naked photo section but have since been deleted or else I was just looking for them in the wrong place. I put a clue to the pics for people to guess back on page 22 of this thread but nobody took a guess. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  4. #17 looks like Pammi CSA #699 Muff #3804
  5. I was just thinking of some old DZ.commers who have posted boobie shots (the NSFW kind) in the past and when I tried to search for them they have all been deleted. What gives! There was one set of boobs in particular that came to mind and I was wanting to see them again. The person of interest hasn't posted on here in nearly five years and who knows what ever happened to her. Can you old timers guess the person in the photos from my description as the pics of her (boobies) are no longer on the site. She wore no clothing, there was an orange and white canopy in the background, some pics she wore the harness and others she lay on the canopy with no harness. CSA #699 Muff #3804

    Boobies

When did you buy Carla the fake boobs? CSA #699 Muff #3804
  7. Bob- I hear what you are saying and YES, jokes aside agree CRW is not something to take lightly and should only be done with CRW specific gear as well as with experienced/ trained jumpers. Your links are a perfect example of what can happen and shows how both jumpers got lucky. To be honest I have only done 3 HP canopy style jumps with miss matched canopies, one of them resulting in a chop. I was new to CRW at those times and have no planes to walk down the same path. I have seen first hand with others (all jumping lightnings) of what can happen in the blink of an eye. We all have done less than smart things and thankfully we can look back and laugh at ourselves and know we wont be making that mistake again. The wisdom gained is shown in both your posts trying to educate the up jumpers of what is safe and what is not. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  8. Thanks. The Storm is news to me. I recall something specific about the Lightning. I'm probably just losing it. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  9. So what’s the deal? For the life of me I cannot remember where I heard or read it but PD is looking to redesign the Lightning and fix the so called “landing issues” jumpers have been having. Sure the landings aren’t the greatest but the only time I don’t stand up on my 160 is on a no wind day and my feet can’t keep up. That’s only happened a hand full of times. So am I just hearing things or is PD really thinking about it? If its true what’s it going to do with compatibility with existing lightnings? CSA #699 Muff #3804
  10. I so enjoyed the outcome of the Velo & Hornet CRW (I was jumping the Hornet). As I came in for a bottom dock he went into deep brakes, got a little lift and I slipped just under him. But before I had a chance to move away he stalled his canopy and fell right through mine wrapping one of my lines lines around his ankle. We bounced off each other and then all was cleared. My canopy was ok, he ended up with a line over that he had to chop. It was his first save on his own pack job. The best part was I got to fly over the river following his canopy and then had to flag down some fisherman in a boat to go retrieve it off the island where it landed. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  11. If its who I'm thinking of I know of the seller you are talking about. Send me a PM with seller info and I'll let you know the rest about the canopy as I have seen it first hand. I'd say listen to Billy but I can never understand him when he talks with his hands. You can do crew with just about any two canopies you want. I have done it with a Hornet 170 and a Velo 103 as well as a Raven III 249 and a Lightning 143. The only problem is you will spend most of the dive trying to get the canopies close enough for a dock. If you wanna have a good time with CRW it is best if all jumpers are using the same canopy and are evenly matched on wing load. Personally, I'd go with the Lightning as it is the most widely used CRW canopy out there. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  12. Roy if it makes you feel any better Tabby and I are expecting a boy in July. Look forward to seeing you and the rest of the delinquents on opening day of the new DZ. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  13. Slow down now! At NO point did I ever say I was QUITTING the sport. I just said there are priorities in my life now (sniff sniff) and I will be doing less jumping. I'll sell my free fall canopy long before I ever sell my Lightning. I love the dark side and wish more around me did as well that way I could use it. Those like JRose are to scared to play with the big dogs so they freefly instead. He spirals away anytime I get close to his canopy, PUSS. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  14. I love this sport and I love my new wife as well. She has made two jumps and we've learned that skydiving isn't for her. She would rather be out on her motorcycle cruising the back roads, but I'm not one for bikes. So she has cut back her riding as I have my jumping. In marriage there are choices that have to be made in order to keep the peace. I can no longer go to the DZ and leave her alone as I did before (which is a sore subject in our marriage today). We now do everything together. My home DZ closed last fall and the nearest is 80 miles north that only operates in the summer months, My home DZ was year round. My wife and I are expecting out first child in July. Life happens, I have made my choices and I have no regrets. I will always look skyward and want to dust off my rig from time to time for either a jump or a GL. What if I get hurt or worse killed? Who is going to help with the loss of income and pay the bills? Oh, I'll still continue to jump from time to time making a dozen or so jumps a year and again thats life. It's my choice. This sport was once my everything and now my family is my everything. 15. It's been some time since I tried a speed dive. My fastest with a protrack inside my helmet is 214 in SAS mode. For me it feels like I'm flying threw a tube. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  16. I'm kind curious as to what brought this thread on. Was it your resent article in Skydiving Mag, from the several threads on this subject as of late or have you been receiving a lot of questions from people. You have good points and I do agree with you about not ruining it for other in the future. I said the same thing in my thread on this topic. Here in WA State I know of two ski resorts that do not allow it. One I personally spoke to the resort GM and the other a buddy got turned down. If we ask politely and try to educate management of what we are doing we can build a relationship. If we "bandito" as you put it we will lose in the end. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  17. Lucky you. Mine wants me to quit skydiving, grow up and get a degree like the 5 she has. CSA #699 Muff #3804

    Joke of the day

That SO sounds like my brother. Yesterday was my wife and I sixth month wedding anniversary so I bought her a new fly fishing vest as a gift. She loved it. CSA #699 Muff #3804

    Joke of the day

I got this in an email and thought you all would like it. A man kills a deer and takes it home to cook for dinner. Both he and his wife decide that they won't tell the kids what kind of meat it is, but will give them a clue and let them guess. The kids were eager to know what the meat was on their plates, so they begged their dad for the clue. Well, he said, "It's what mommy calls me sometimes". The little girl screams to her brother "Don't eat it, it's an asshole..." CSA #699 Muff #3804
  20. So what your saying is you'd like to be named first at sucks in swoop. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  21. I know some people in the Shelton area who have done a bit of blade running. Now, if I could just find someone with a truck willing to drive me to the top of my GL hill and save myself a 45 minute hike. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  22. He's not a big competitor but one hell of a swooper. I'd have to say Andy Farrington is one of the better swoopers out there. Hands down I'd have to agree that Jay is the best eh. CSA #699 Muff #3804
  23. I know this topic has been discussed in the past but after looking at the GL pics of SPIRE at Tahoe it made me think. Was this a Blade Running event or just some fun canopy time? In one pic I see skiers. I didn't think it was allowed at ski resorts in the US unless it was a sanctioned BR event. Every resort I've been to here in WA has said no, as all para activities are not in their contract with the Forest Service. Plus, it’s too much of a liability if I hit a skier. So what resorts do allow it in the winter time with other skiers on the mountain? I can always just do it and never ask permission but I want to keep my gear and not risk going to jail. 24. Iraq is the same. Most of the time you just scratch your head and wonder how the hell they got everything tied down. Best thing I ever saw there was a man with his 6 wives in the back of the truck and a baby camel riding shotgun on the passenger seat. Oh, did I mention it was raining out. CSA #699 Muff #3804
