There were some areas of post deleted before I read them so I make this statement based on what is available now. to original poster: As for the original poster you really should take into account what someone with 34 years in the sport has to say. Dude just be really careful before you do this. I have worked ground crew on several demos and jumped several. There are alot of factors that come into play even with the proper aircraft and experienced jump pilot. Of course the size of the area you are jumping is alot larger than a typical demo area you still should have an experienced diver on the ground in comms or least some sort of signal (smoke) for wind direction and in case for whatever reason, to abort the jump. Yeah weather here is great during the week but the weekends have sucked. example fri=71 degrees clear little wind sat=35 degress low clouds wind gust 30-40 sun= 45+ mostly clear but severe wind gust its pretty much been this way since December with only a few jumpable weekends. Hell I am even posting about converting a radio to aircraft freqs so I can at least listen to pilot talk. BSBD Home of the Alabama Gang

I haven't tried this yet but I hear d it works. Convert your AM/FM (Non-digital) radio to an Aircraft broadcast receiver. I recommend doing this with a battery operated radio so you don’t fry yourself. Open the case and look at the part under the tuning dial that selects stations. This is the variable capacitor. You should also see 2 or 3 small square metal components which are filter transformers. Look closely at the filter transformers and you will see a small srew slot to make adjustments. One of the filter transformers will have 2 or 3 small glass diodes next to it. This is the transformer that will need to be adjusted. First tune the radio on an FM band between stations until you hear a background hiss. Now adjust the filter transformer and turn it until the hiss gets as loud a possible. When the hiss is at its loudest point you have converted the FM portion to receive AM signals. Next look at the radios tuning dial and notice the large tuning capacitor on the main board the will be 2 small copper wire coils next to it, with the screwdriver carefully spread the small coils out as mush as possible without letting them touch another part of the board. You have now extended the broadcast range from 88 MHz to 108 MHz and above. Next tune the dial up and down the FM band and you will notice that the station locations have moved. You should now be able to tune in aircraft frequencies. To change the radio back, just reverse the instructions. BSBD Home of the Alabama Gang

When the company I used to work for merged I went to one for a free consultation. I took my current resume and other self marketing ideas with me. I looked on it as not only an expensive resume service but also an agent so to speak with my interest in mind and not the hiring agencies. They not only help identify your strengths and weaknesses but can also help you market those talents. (Its all about the marketing) I honestly believe that if I had used him I could have gotten about 20% -30% more than I currently make. Not only do they know the "Tricks" but they usually have a good network of folks who can help in a job search and /or job upgrade. I personally would recommend one though the one I went to was a flat fee (800.00)and not hourly based. I would be more hesitant to go to an hourly charge. Just my .02 good luck

Photoshop! Same dog in all 3 holding false teeth. Check out the freckles on the nose, they are identical. I believe 3 diffrent pictures of the same dog laid on top of a background. Also the shadows cast on the middle dog do not match with the position of the right hand dog. IMO BSBD Home of the Alabama Gang

One more thing to add. When transferring profiles remember that whatever background noise is in the original profile will be copied as well. So using the profile in a different noise environment will affect its ability to recognize. BSBD Home of the Alabama Gang

***Limited experience with lower end software.*** Its the Mic that will make the diffrence not the hardware platform. If the software allows for multiple profiles, you can copy a profile from one machine to another rather than "Retrain" each machine. The more you train your profile the better it will perform. The software I used to use (Dragon speak I think) toook several samples of common words and phrases and would overlay them. It would then search for a matching pattern. Unfortunatley I mumble alot and had to retrain several times. I was the cause of many hours of laughter, me sitting yelling at my computer that "I said X and not Y." One of the upsides is it did teach me to innunciate better in casual conversation.
