Yup, Smoke Jumper's a smoked porter. Dark robust beer, and damn good at that. Left Hand brewery is in Longmont, Colorado (also my home DZ, Mile-Hi). Bought some this past weekend for me and my woman. I'm a jumper, she's training to be a firefighter. The best of both our worlds, so it just seemed too perfect to let it sit there on the shelf. Yum!

Absolutely. Skydiving and yoga benefit each other. It's like a 69 of sweet goodness. The last boogie I attended in MOAB this year there were quite a few people doing yoga stretches, including Amy Chmelecki and other LO's. Yes, I spoke with Sandy again the other day and she had some good and bad news. Good news...the quote for the tear was less than I expected. The bad news? There was another tear in the center cell I didn't catch and the factory recommended a new line set...meaning more $$$. Oh well. I'd rather have the cell and stabilizer replaced and have it done right than have patches everywhere on my baby. Sandy requested for the repairs to be done ASAP and shipped back to her today (Friday). So I should have my canopy to jump next weekend. Woohoo! Thanks Sandy! Too bad I can't say the same thing as everyone else here. I absolutely love my Pilot, but... It got a small tear in it (approx 4" long) at one of the buttons on the stabilizer, so I sent pictures to them before sending it in to be repaired and was told 3 to 4 weeks for the repair and return. Cool!

Yep, some of us are lucky to call CO "home". Here's a shot I took at sunrise in Moab last year during the boogie, waiting for some BASE jumpers to launch off Tombstone. My sincerest condolences to you and yours, Kenz. I'm so sorry. When I was 7, my father was riding and got sideswiped by a haytruck on a country road and it took off his left leg. But he's lucky; he didn't have a scratch on his head, sans helmet. So after months of surgery, ICU, and physical rehab he came out ok. But it's changed his life drastically and the way I personally view riding bikes, that's for sure. I'll take jumping over riding any day. No diss to those that do ride, it's just something I don't ever think I will do. Just be careful out there, people!
