  1. Well, they do have one, for Veterans that are service connected disabled. I have one. I have had cops ask to see it when they looked into my wallet as I pulled my license out. I was once told "You can go, you already paid" All I was doing was speeding, it was nice of him to give me a pass, it was in Macon Co. GA as well. I figured it was within discretion as a professional courtesy.
  2. Yeah anytime we dump a body clean fish, we just wash the inside out with some bleach, no worries!
  3. Very nice! I hope you got enough to fill the smoker up.
  4. I only have a 14' deep V mirrocraft and a Zodiac FC470 right now though. If I move somewhere else I may get a larger boat. The Chain is nothing more than a swamp.
  5. The second one... LOTS more practical with our weather The first one... you would need to add 7 grand worth of camper top canvas to the back to survive mo0st of the year here Don't you need a permit for trailering that rig? Looks pretty wide. And launching...that's gotta be a process. We're starting to outgrow the 23' Concept and looking to get something bigger that handles Erie better. Get a Grady White!!!

  7. The clutch on our Audi A6 Quattro lasted 164,000 miles. and that is a 6 speed trans
  8. What motor is in that? I hope its diesel, that would be fantastic.
  9. Very nice boat. 8200lbs is pretty light for a boat that size and the trailer too, good work. Some boats are excessively heavy. What I like about the GW is that the gull is manufactured using some of the best hull materials and techniques available. I like this one a lot http://www.gradywhite.com/306/ But it is not like I can afford it...
  10. You buying a Grady-White? Really nice boat, I missed a chance to buy a 27' GW with three Evinrude 250HP's on it, It was like brand new, this was at the .com bubble burst and the owner was selling everything he had. I should have bought that and ditched the GF.
  11. Jim, many of the fast movers steal the show but you cannot beat this one for showing what some real power can do... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQyGd6F2SKI&feature=fvwrel I don't think anyone would have volunteered to be within the "cone of death" (Mc Nuggets anyone?) If that was a C-5M it was 200k lbs of thrust getting that off the runway so quickly
  12. Yep, everything in balance. If the load is heavy you would do well by getting an Allison transmission. Many people who transport horses are getting trucks equipped with one, saves on the brakes and wear and tear on the trans.
  13. There was a VERY loud noise, the Earth cooled, the fish grew feet and then the lawyers took over...Hell I was THERE! That was only the first freak bros convention
  14. She was really flying an AIM-54, the cloth and bright colors were really a disguise.
  15. Blowers or turbos are great on the drag strip or long haul freeway run, but for merely haul a boat or trailer, bad idea. Good power if you don't mind a drop in fuel economy, or over heating you r engine in traffic. Blowers have poor water flow at low rpm's. Turbos run hot, due to the recirculation of exhaust gases. These are the reasons they never made it into your everyday daily driver vehicle. Back around 76, I got my hands on a 3-71 that I wanted to put on my 327 68 Camaro. My dad filled me in on why that was a bad idea for the street. He didn't even run a blower on the 350 dragster he raced (see pic. That's me on the left at age 10.) A RV cam and normal aspiration is all the power you'll need. That's if you choose a truck with a carburetor. If you go for a vehicle with F.I., a chip will answer your prayers. Good explanation from Jegs: http://www.jegs.com/s/tech-articles/superchargers.html&title=Superchargers+-+Blowers+-+Roots+Type+-+Centrifugal My father was a diesel mechanic for over 45years there is a right and wrong way of doing things. He worked on everything you could imagine and had his name in the credits in the rear of the manuals. There is nothing wrong with it on a diesel, you just need to do everything with the fact that it will be turbo/blown and choose your setup accordingly. Some of the coolest engines he worked on was in the range of 1500 to an excess of 10,000hp You should see a twin engine earth scraper do 4 wheel burnouts
  16. Have fun, keep it upright! Or at least not on it's side.
  17. Turbo or blown diesel. A blower helps especially at lower rpms since it does not need to spool up. I would get something with a cummins or an older rebuilt detroit diesel that had a blower or turbo added. Mark, why not just find a truck and go through the motor yourself? You still have tools right?
  18. Geez I kinda suspected you were actually a madame but now I see this and realize even though we are good friends you never told me. It hurts to read this in public. Oh the shame!!!
  19. GSXR1100N 1127 CC reworking of the exhaust, bigger carbs (40mm), Yosh cams, Stage III, K&N, always on pavement, you really would not want to ride it only anything else. I get two oil changes per rear tire, three per front tire. The curvy stuff keeps the wear even, the straight up stuff is really bad for the tires, it makes the middle go flat. Mine are their second softest compound, really good in rain though. Yeah I do not use the brakes unless necessary, downshift and getting big (catching air) is usually enough unless I need to be really slow. I ride fairly aggressively when conditions permit (newer pavement and no loose crap)
  20. I think they suck in comparison to a Metzler, the tread alone is a difference and the composition is way better than a BT. I do not get my tire breaking loose on cold pavement nor any problems with it hooking up or when leaned over really far. If you do a lot of upright riding you can get away with a BT but it really is not even close to a Metzler.
  21. Find Metzlers, buy Metzlers, be safe and be happy. They are the only tire I use on my bike. I have had and did not like: Dunlop, Bridgestone BT's, Michelins (were not bad but not as good as a Metzler)
  22. Thats where you put on a strapon and fuck the guy that you are seeing...
