  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT2ae1WkuC0 I couldn´t resist. "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  2. These guys are wearing some special kind of tracksuit if I'm not mistaken. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp4TXIwWl3U "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  3. What kind of bodyposition/AoA do you have when flying the record? Very interested to see some pics or footage :) 304 horizontal is just crazy, very nice job and very impressive! I'd like to try this as well some day since tracking is the most fun thing to do in skydiving for me personally. In groups, in shorts, solo, with or without a trackingsuit, I can't get enough of it. Hopefully one day when I get some more experience :) Thanks in advance. "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  4. Awesome to watch these when I can't sleep at night :) Huge thank you for the time and effort spent. You da man! "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  5. The I would reccomend to you that you look into the Sony AS15 Action Cam. Bought one about three weeks ago and have been filming my jumps almost exclusively in the 720p 120pfs mode. Quality is great and camera is very userfriendly. Been working on an edit the past few days, when it's ready I'll send you the link so you check the quality. "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  6. I'm really looking forward to this event! This will be my first visit to a world class American dropzone and I'm hoping to make 100ish wingsuit jumps during the two weeks. Just crossing my fingers that my skinny arms can keep it up :) "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  7. I have about 200 jumps on an Electra 150, of which about 3/4ths were wingsuit jumps. In my opinion it's a very good canopy for wingsuiting. Quite forgiving. I must admit though that I jumped the Electra quite early in my 'jumping career' and so I didn't do alot of big suit jumps with it. Just my 2 cents. "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  8. I would tell the cunt: "If we're in a confined space together and I let a big one rip, my assgas probably won't hurt you either" :) "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  9. I have no problem with people smoking, but please, when your're doing it, get the hell away from when I'm walking around in a wingsuit, with an open canopy or when I'm packing, because you will be paying for it if I get cigarette burns. "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  10. When I dump in a track, be it in a trackingsuit, rw suit, ff suit or whatever, I wave off by "waving" very clearly with my hands besides my body. People have seen me do it and tell me that it's just as clear and visible as a normal wave-off in a boxman position. As for the opening, I jump a Spectre that usually snivels quite a bit, so when I dump in a track I just get an opening that's a little bit faster than I'm used to. I've done it quite a few times now and the only "hard" openings I have ever had were on wingsuit jumps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIwymInqP3Y http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13bNvzsd2_8 Just my 2 cents. 11. I'd suggest you go to either DZ Hoevenen or DZ Schaffen. When are you coming over? If I'm free I'd love to come with you and jump together! I live in Antwerp, about 10km from DZ Hoevenen. As Queros already said, it's probably the nicest DZ in Belgium to jump when it comes to nice visuals. You can see the whole city and port of Antwerp which is pretty cool. 12. I've asked this to one of my former teammates on numerous occasions over the years. He has risers that don't have tuck tabs to stow away excess brake line. I've read about several incidents on this issue (some of them fatal) here on dizzy, and I keep telling him this. Despite my well-meant advice and despite the fact that tuck tabs are something that his rigger (Also my rigger) will gladly install for free, he still hasn't/refuses to install them. 13. Might you be referring to Sangi? "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  14. IMO what you describe is more commenly know as a "flare", which is, I think, mainly done in the skydive environment during performance competitions to get a boost in distance when entering your competition/working altitude. Everybody I know calls it a "flare" and I know no-one who calls this a swoop. "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  15. Looks like wednesday might be the day, according to his FB page. "The Wingsuit Landing is ON! Looking like Wednesday, confirmation email this evening. The calm, professional and level headed english chap in this very wingsuit will soon to flying it, deliberately, into a big pile of cardboard boxes, being the first person to intentionally jump out of a helicopter and land WITHOUT using a parachute." 18. Sublime edit buddy! As always.. Insanely eager to go to go back in November and meet al those awesome people again. Not sure yet if I'm coming to Nagamby as well, but I'll check my finances in August and see from there
  19. Woopsy. Please forgive me! Still a bit in a jetlaggy mood from the trip back. "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  20. Hey there everyone! You guys all good? :) Just got back From Oz. Man that place, and especially the people there, are so insanely cool, beautiful, hospitable, funny and awesome. I did one of the most fun jumps in a long while, so I wanted to share this one with you guys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_0K4jBp97E In this one I'm leading a flock of wingsuits in my new PF trackingsuit at Bridgewater DZ, Australia during the Phoenix-Fly Wingsuit Camp in January 2012. The jumpers involved are Chris ''Douggs'' Mcdougall, Jason Dos Remeidos, Matt Hart, Jarno Cordia (Outside video), Andrew Wrong, Eli Gerris (Myself), Doan Vu, Darren McInerney, Leon Hunt, Andrew Wrong, Mike Tibbitts, Matthew Hyland, Ben Futterleib, Ashley Armstrong and Paul Easterdbrook. I clocked 113 seconds from 13.000 ft to 3.500, setting an average fallrate of 70 MPH. Hope you guys like the jump. PS: Huge thanks to my best friend Jarno for shooting this amazing footage! Thanks buddy!
