Errr.... I don't think thats true. My friend uses WinMX with no problems. you still use iTunes as the interface but i'm fairly sure you download the music straight into the iTunes files. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Yep! You obviously know something!!! You can also convert any cd's into MP3 files and it makes them much more portable. eg. i have somewhere in the region of 200 albums downloaded onto my ipod. yes - ipod is the apple brand. they are very stylish and well designed and no other manufacturer has one that beats it yet on all fronts, some have better battery life, some have better sound quality.... but as a complete package, the ipods are right up there Depends.... your main attributes are: storage, this can range anywhere from 10's of songs worth, to 60Gb plus - which will ptake 100's of hours worth of music Portability - this tends to go hand in hand with storage - less storage = smaller unit Battery life - some of the early apples including mine had issues with this but i think its sorted now. Looks - personally i think you can't beat the apples but some of the new sonys are pretty slick amongst others i am sure there are lots of features the salesman will try and sell you... but most players have similar functionality Not familiar with US prices, but at this price point you are probably looking at one of the smaller players. am sure someone from the US will chime in here..... I agree with ripple and mr2mk1g. The main reason for the ban of fox hunting has nothing to to with foxes - its more about the fact that rich country people are enjoying themselves doing something that other people can't and blair and his idiot cronies don't like it. The hunts are a full time business for some and put a lot into estate maintenance and the general upkeep of the country. A lot of people on hunts couldn't care less whether they are following a fox or not (mike i am sorry you had a bad experience but most of the hunters i have met are not "arrogant arseholes"). True the hunters come up with some crap excuses - population control is a crock, guns work much better. A note on drag hunting - watch how quickly a drag hunt changes direction when a real fox is scented..... although this is the one type of hunting i have participated in in the past and its good fun. What annoys me most about this is that a lot of the people leading the hysterical screaming for hunting to be banned are keen fishermen. WTF?! Personally i haven't got any problem with any of it particularly, but if the fishermen are going to ban hunting then they should have fishing banned as well. It might become obvious how much of a nanny state culture we are promoting if the laws were applied equally....
