I am...got a 2 liter sitting here...and it is being imbibed as we speak. "Fuck yeah!". 2nd drink mixed and sitting here...Simon keeps thinking it's something he'd like, but he can't have it. Can't handle a drunk cat right now, you know? And yes, I'm changing the locks. It is taking control, but it's a situation that is not under my control; this is the only thing I can do to protect myself from further betrayal and hurt. I've got English assignments I'm blowing off because of this, too. Makes me mad, but I can't freaking focus. Shit and shinola. Had a really bad few days...so I'm just going to drink and drink and drink until I can't see straight. Then if I cry myself to sleep again, maybe I won't remember it. When one is betrayed after giving 2 years to someone else, it's sort of hard to take. Yes, I know this is temporary. No, I can't make any changes to make a difference. And yes, I am doing my best to not slide into a depression. But fuck, man, sometimes life bitch slaps you hard. Skoal! First drink done, 4 more to go... Canned food is what is affected, not dry. I don't feed them Iams canned, so I'm feeling better. I use Friskies canned, and that is NOT on the list. Anyone see anything I missed? Thanks, Lisa. I'll check them out! Ciels- Michele O.K., I'll give a better review when they get here...but they've already scheduled an appointment, and the cost is less than I expected, they're both state licensed and police licensed; bonded and worker's comp too. I'll feel better when it's done.

In all the cats I've had over the years, none of them have had renal failure. I've used cheap food, expensive food - all kinds of food. When they've died, it's because of age (one at 22), or because of cancer, or because they've already had an inherent disease (they're all non-rehomable cats, the ones who live with me...). And our cat food is NOT on the list.

Yeah, I wondered about that; and then I remembered that you spoiled her rotten. She still craving the syringe water? LOL, silly girl... But I use regular canned food - and I'm a bit more worried than not, you know? So we'll switch for a few days until things get identified and sorted out. I'm waiting for the list of brand names...that way, I can see who's the same, and who's not...as well as check out if my cabinets need to be cleaned. If you hear anything, lemme know, all right? Pears are delightful, right? Look, I'm rather large breasted. No, no photos...but here are the drawbacks. 1. You can't run. Really. It throws the whole aerodynamics right out the window. And if you cross your arms under your boobs while running, you're not using them right. 2. You can't see your shoes. The only way you know it's untied is if someone tells you, or you fall over them. This can be rather awkward. 3. You have to move them when you sleep on your belly. Literally. I'll reposition myself, and have to adjust my boobs to get comfortable. 4. You have to buy power bras. The pretty, nice, delicate bras are NOT made for women of size. No light green with lace...grey or white battle bras are about the only stuff I can find. And when I can find a pretty bra in my size, it's usually dark purple or black; those don't work well with tee shirts... 5. It hurts like hell when putting on a sports bra. Those things get mushed all out of place, and the nerves scream at you. And you'll have to wear two if you're doing anything more than walking. Like Thunderbow said, you're exactly as God intended. I couldn't follow along...all I could follow was it was a cluster fuck, and Jet Blue kept screwing things up. God love that ATC...he managed to get it handled. I've always loved listening to ATC, but had no idea they were as laid back as that guy. And yes, he did keep his sense of humor...as did some pilots. Wouldn't one want to get some breaths in there (slow, head positioned properly) just to make sure there is enough O2 cruising past the alveoli? Them grapes need their juice, right? Like Linz, I have friends outside the skydiving world...and right now, they make up the majority of my social circle. School friends, neighbors, and old friends are the rest of them, and I'm fine with that. Do I spend time here, thinking/dreaming/wishing I could jump right now? Sure...but then, I usually just go back to the books and learn something new, like autoclaving temps or the procreational activities of bacteria or how to build a bomb (well, that was last term...Chemistry, don'tcha know...) or how to read an EKG. There is little harder than saying goodbye to a loved one, especially with a sudden passing. It's very hard, even if it's a pet. I know; I have lots of pets...and have lost lots of pets, too. And it's really hard, each and every time one goes to the rainbow bridge. My condolences to you, Corey, and I hope you can find some peace after this initial wave of anger and loss are past. Yes, I know about being angry at vets; I understand that betrayal, and that anger. And yes, I understand the responsibility part, too. But the truth is, there is nothing that can be changed. So now, grieve Cindy Lou, love her in your heart. And let the anger evaporate and melt away; it will, eventually. And you'll come to accept this; maybe not understand it, but accept it. And then, when the time is right...there will be a dog out there that looks at you, and you look at it...and you'll know. This is the one Cindy Lou sent over, this is the next one you're supposed to love and to grow with. And you'll give that pup a delightful home, and give it all the love it needs. While I didn't have a 70 hour day, my day - and the last few days - have been all about studying. I've got exams tomorrow and thursday, and am exhausted...and it's only 8:45; I'm going to bed anyway...cause there's not a fact out there that my poor head can cram into it. Yep, it can. It affects all animals...why not a cat? Food's different time, you're up and doing things at different times, the birds are singing differently...so why not? If there's any other issue, don't hesitate to get her into the vet, but her being lazy is what cats do. They like to sleep about 18 hours in a 24 hour period, after all. Cats are cool. Everyone on this thread who hasn't faced depression just lost some respect from me. As if it matters. I know it doesn't. Making light of suicide is not funny. And while this story is gross, those of you who can't feel a little compassion for two people who are at the end of their ropes should take a look and see where else in your life you're missing compassion. Be aware that there are people who are reading this right now who are thinking about taking their own lives, and are looking for ways to do so. This is not a topic to make light of.
