There is a flaw in your memory. The second weekend the DZ was open I did go out as I was invited by several folks. Upon arrival I was infiormed by Mike Paiser I was not allowed to be there, I was "an unsafe skydiver and am banned". We adjurned to his office and discussed it very polite and proffesional. He had four points, he claimed made me unsafe. Of those points I was never actually involved in directly, he was involved directly in two of them. As I left the DZ that day, still banned and according to Mike "all ratings suspended" as well. I spoke to Chuck for about two minutes, Mike hovered the whole time we spoke and Chuck and I both didn't rehash what Mike had done. Upon filing my greivance with the RD (about the ratings suspended part) I waited to see what would happen and infomred the two DZ's I usaully jumped at and both said as the RD said I was NOT suspended they had no issues with me and laughed at the "Unsafe" label. It took over a month but Mike did finally call and appologize for over stepping and incorrectly banning me and suspending me. During that month Chuck and I talked two or three times and e-mailed the about same. We do not see eye to eye about the Corporations Marketing, as most do not. I did offer to help him understand and follow the CAO rules that the members of Ft Campbell would subject to. He passed. As soon as the appology from Mike came out , Chuck called and said "do not come out as your a negative vibe I do not want at the DZ". So yes there is at least one "banning". But as it seems your now permanetly in Waverly this is mute. By the way Paiser is still an S&TA, of what DZ I do not know, but he is. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. I think he came here to complain like many do and he did not ge tthe support he wanted. The DZ he jumps at has gone through another move and it's S&TA did not move with it. The RD told the DZ to use the "At Large" nearby, they never called and never would have any way. The DZ in its new location now has a new S&TA. The tw oS&TA's have a very close relationship, so I see no change in how the S&TA will work with the DZ. I think he and the DZ got what they wanted, just didn't have the patience to wait for it to happen. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Once or twice. It is cool, like mentioned here, to be able to jump with the sports Top Dogs and, even better, at the end of the day hang out and have a drink with 'em as well. Being a New "Old Guy" (or is it "Old" New Guy?) I can look back at my time in the sport and see that some of my students and past team mates are now part of that world class team. Do you know what Level 5 is in relation to the USPA "Catagories" System? It may be that if you did the dissorientating manuevers you could be jumping with a Coach and the AFF-I shortage won't effect you. To draw on the Nashville Tourists you'll need to make it closer than Chatanooga. The TN, KY etc will travel there, but the Country Western Fans (the major Tourist base) will stay near Nashville. There are two other Co's doing the same research right now. The east side of Nashville/Cookville area would be a place to draw TN, AL, GA, KY and some of NC too. DZ's that skydivers would come from in TN are at least 4. KY at least three. It would need to be comparable to the XP tunnel as it is the standard to meet now if you want Skydivers to frequent it a lot! Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. Jsut buy a new Skysystems full face or like style helmet and have it painted, the lens can have various tints/films applied that you can see through, and you can open the lens for better vision under canopy.
