We had a cool club in Ashford, just attracted too many pikeys and is shut now. They used to play good variety. Started off RnB. *yuk* then went to trance and euphoric shit, then got to house, hard house then bit of hardcore then went mental with proper jungle. Was cool. I miss those days

I really love my Hardcore Heaven CDs (of the audio variety) I desperately wanted to goto the Sanctuary but its all sort of fizzled out now. Hard House is OK, but I kinda gone off it cos I find it too slow now Also, slightly off topic.. Im not a big fan of DnB but I want to go an dexperience the Valve sound system. Bassiest in the world.

Ive voted Skydiving. Ive not done cliff diving but I dont like salt water in my mouth, scuba diving leaves your mouth really dry.... and we wont even get on to muff diving!

Think its the same at ours too. It works fine. Excewpt for hesitation now and again. Its going to be a pain to have to readjust whats become natural tho when I eventually move on to own kit

Ive had 10 mins at Bedford which was brilliant. But that was after level 3 and was really just to sort out positional stuff. But I shall have to go up there when im bit more cometent to 'tune in' the skills

Ive got a Z1 open face which im very happy with at the moment. I dont mind being exposed and at the moment Im not worried about getting bashed in the face. I have no intention of getting a full face yet. Unnecesary expense!

Cheers, Chris is an instructor at my DZ and even at AFF level he is really hot on teaching canopy stuff and getting us to experiment and plan our landing patterns etc.

Hey, I was wondering what people suggest as good discipline for new skydiver to get into. I got a while yet but I was hoping to concentrate on formation work and accuracy stuff to build my skills. I know its a rush watching people doing crazy things but at the moment the biggest kick I get is when I do something and it goes well from start to finish. So guess im asking what did you do, would you do anything different in hindsight and what do you suggest?

I think quite alot do it just for the experience, especially tandems etc, which is why I ticked other.

My friends ask how much it costs.. probably cos theyve observed how poor I am all of a sudden! Random people tend to ask stupid things like... 1) What if it doesnt open - cue long *sigh* I just tell em, imagine you held onto a carrier bag by the handles and lent out the window of your car at 125mph. IT WILL OPEN (or try to ) 2) What pleasure do you get out of it. Which they normally follow with. "I wouldnt do one, but its not because im scared, I just dont think I'd enjoy it." What!? Hello, are YOU mental!?

I know that Navigator specific asked me if I would be making 'repeated solo freefalls' which did put me at tease. The guy actually seemed quite friendly and knowledgable. But looking at the price. When time comes for me to enjoy myself abroad Ill shop around first!
