I,m just more comfortable jumping lower stuff stowed with a 48 or 46 ,but i don't have one with an internal handle ,and those soft handles i don't like because i cant get a good grip on them like i'd like to feel . And i just trashed my 48 soft handle last night on a tree. OK lets think about this for a min ! A camera worth maybe 800.00 or a grand depending on how fancy, you may not find it after it lands in a wooded area or lake someones roof ,who knows ? Is it really worth having a parachute on it and risking your life for? I have an illusion and put a large d-box on the side and didn't like it at all . I have 2 ftp's and work them most of the time .I put a clam shell on the illusion now days and its alot more friendly to jump now .Before my risors constantly were getting caught on the d-box while i was under canopy and it really sucked trying to swoop with it . my 2 cents!!!!!!!!!! I use i-movie and photoshop cs on it currently ,but my old powerbook 667 with a gig of ram is just getting to be to slow for me .I just want to make sure i go to something a hell of alot faster .Been kicking around buying an i-mac 2.0 gig or possibly a powermac dual 2.7 or something big but thats a money thing . I havnt jumped a sonic but i did look at it .It has a nice side mount for a flash unit .But big draw back is that it's made from fiberglass.I have seen too many helmets made of fiberglass cracking like hell at stress points . Optic illusion is a great inexpensive helmet .Or if your really seriouse flat top pro.I have 2 of those and an illusion .Never have to buy another helmet !!!!!!!
