I don't think this is entirely correct, unless you feel that US culture generates more mentally unstable individuals than other western nations... For one thing, using the often compared U.S. and U.K., the U.S. has five times more population than the U.K. Thus, even if both countries have mental deviants at the same rate per capita, then the U.S. will still have five times more incidents. So beware of such comparisons using the actual number of incidents. I had the rate of incidence per capita in mind when I posted. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

That's exactly what I was saying. Your argument was that the right against self incrimination, currently afforded only to hetrosexual spouses should be afforded to homosexuals as well. The UK is different, simply because of the relative frequency of these events - whether they occur with guns, blades or other weapons. The US is a prosperous, educated nation, and it doesn't have any violent video games, movies or TV that isn't also available throughout the rest of the western world.
