For the worst landiong area, it has to be ASC especially when it's muddy, Skydive Atlanta in Thomaston has a huge green grassy landing area that kicks ass. Eloy......I'm coming home baby. Coming soon to a bowl of Wheaties near you!!

I carry a hook knife, mp3 player, pull-up cord, and rubber bands on me while in the air. When you land off, having the pull-up cord and rubber bands is nice so you can pack while you wait to be found (you'll be ready for the next load when you get back), or pack and then walk back (easier to carry all that shit in form of a backpack). The tunes are good for the ride up, and for long walks back from landing out. Coming soon to a bowl of Wheaties near you!!

Associated with ASC is one way of putting it, owns..would be another, and operates 1-800-Skyride would be yet another. Name rhymes with Berry. ASC really is a good drop zone from an up-jumper aspect, and the skydiving staff is awesome, lots of experience. I think a lot of people get pissed about the advertising, and that is totally understandable. As far as questionable business practices, I don't feel I've ever been cheated. I've heard plenty of stories("THE FARM" being the result of one of these stories), and seen some things, hell I've even been told that the owners are suing a former packer (what the idea behind that is I'll never know). But I can say I've never had a bad time, I usually have to good of a time. Coming soon to a bowl of Wheaties near you!!

Whaddya mean.....it's only 20 minutes away. I do trade off and go to Thomaston now. To be honest the only people that kept me at ASC originally was Nate, TJ, and Steve-O. Steve-O and TJ have moved on, but I still go out to get coaching from Nate and to freefly with Tyler, Kenny, Katie, Sun-man, Michael B, Hans, and when we can ge him to jump, JRock. All kickass people, and if you go to ASC who you should hook up with. Just know that you can't jump out of the "same airplane used in the movie Point Break". Thomaston has got a great vibe, and a fast as hell KA (about 8 - 9 minutes to 14,5 as apposed to Mike Mullins 7 - 8). Coming soon to a bowl of Wheaties near you!!

I know, I know, I just couldn't resist (changed screen name), I have a friend that lives in Charleston and wanted to know if I would come up and do a jump with him at a place near-by, he sent me the page, and since I do jump at ASC, I recognized the hangar immediately, and most of the pics (my favorites are of the free fly circus..over water..in the middle of Georgia), and I just couldn't help myself... Have you tried spybot (freedownload at download.com) I had a real nasty browser issue, and what I did was to do a google search on it which gave me some links, which in the end helped me get rid of the bug. Just a thought, good luck Coming soon to a bowl of Wheaties near you!!
