Me again, if I was you, I would look more towards Loussianna, Mississippi, or Alabama, they are all going to be a hike (3-4 hours). Being an A&P mechanic and a skydiver, I place aircraft maintenance pretty damn high on my list, like right there around container and canopy. I usually walk around any aircraft and look for anything indicative of shoddy maintenance (bad patch jobs, oil leaks, hydraulic leaks, nicks in the prop blades, tires, landing gear, shit like that) this little walk around has gotten me some extra green on my account an some new friends around the DZ. I had the same itch to brake 200 before USPA changed, then my goal was 300 by one year, but then some of those unplanned life altering events happened, so now i just want to break 250. i think you'll have no problem, you seem to be a hard driving kinda skychick. You guys have to try a lunch box. Im learned how to make them when I was a bar tender in Germany (I was in the Air Force..it's along story). I know it sounds nasty, but believe me it's good. Beer, Orange Juice, and Amaretto. Take a pint glass, put ing three fingers of beer , one finger of OJ, and then drop in a shot of Amaretto (this might be a good time to suggest that the beer/OJ be at least deep enough to cover the shot glass) boiler maker style, the slam it down Car Bomb style. I personally like all of 'em, however, I have some overly sensitive co-workers, and have been sited by the cubicle police. Why can't people just appreciate humor for what it is....I thought they were funny, apparently in the back of my mind i was trying to make some kind of statement.
