  1. I didn't see that anywhere.... S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".

Now, not that I'm trying to argue with the fact that she's not who she initially presented herself, but just because she is not IN denmark, does not mean she is not FROM denmark. I have no doubt in my mind that she is someone else, well, except the one thinking that if she IS, she's owed A LOT of beer. Only one problem... that's distance dependant. i.e. if she's ten feet way, she could fit, but the closer she gets.... S.E.X. party #1 "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "f*#k, what a ride".
  4. [cheesy high school jock voice] I'm only three inches...I don't know....some girls think that's too wide. 5. I had an experience sort of liek that...I was heading towards the dz from a relatively long spot, and only had one sock to use as a reference for wind, so I landed that way. Turns out, the frigging thing had somehow wrapped itself around the pole, and appeared to be pointing 180 degrees from what the wind was actually doing...no big deal, I landed fine, just a little fast. Ok, that wasn't really similar at all... Good to hear. Hopefully I can talk to someone there soon. If I'm there, you've got an instructor. I plan on making myself as available as possible to the dz...especially if it's only 10 minutes away. I'm used to an hour drive one way, so I'm looking very forward, to a quick drive. That, and after a bad day at work, head to the dz to blow off some steam...OK, I gotta stop, I'm starting to drool. Good call. As a friend of mine said while pointing out a "bigger" girl..."she's a size 2...if you measure in axe handles." NOT PRETTY! Yeah, I'll be in the area for the whole season, so I'm sure I will meet (get coaching) form some of the FFers there. I don't know if I will jump there regularly or not yet though, it depends on their need for instructors. I already talked to another dz that said they were in need, but I haven't been able to contact anyone from STI as of yet. I would rather jump at STI because I'll be living about 10 minutes from there, as opposed to an hour from the other one, but I have to get my contacts in this season. Now, on to the important stuff. I personally usually buy Moosehead, but that's just a personal preference. 11. That's different though Dave. That's when we BUY the item in question. We of course (in our wonderful province) don't get a refund for some things, but what can you do? They certainly don't charge us to turn them back in. I checked to see if that was the reason she didn't respond right away, and she was still online at the time, so that's not it. I like the way you think. I was debating if I was going to show up this weekend or not, but you make a strong case for the yes column. P.S. I will also owe a case when I jump as it will be my first one at that dz... 15. Actually what I meant, was that I'm not from the US, and I don't beleive Canada was a major force in Vietnam. I could of course be wrong. yeah, I suppose it could, but I would think that there would be some sort of defence from a person so easily moved into the type of jesting that was going on. 17. I'm sure there's some medical explanation for that, regarding the "downer" after a dopamine high, and how severe it can be. I haven't done anything remotely as taxing as those examples, yet it seems regardless of one jump or five, or whatever, as soon as I know the day is done, I get sooooo burned out. I don't know if that's necessary though...the thread kinda died off right away, after the suggestion was first presented that she might not be who she says. Good to have community guard dogs though (no offence) keeps trusting, innocent people (read possibly naive) like myself, out of trouble. 19. I personally wish it were a duel to the death of sorts...you take Saddam, and his leadership, then you get Bush, and his leadership, and you put them in a big pit and let them fight to the death. Then the winner gets to sit there and starve. Problems solved.
  20. Ummm, I didn't mean for it to sound like that I think. I'm not sure EXACTLY how you took it, but the response wasn't really appropriate for how i meant it. I was never in Vietnam, Somalia, or Korea, and my country was only in two of them so far as I know. 21. I think it's basically just a stall tactic. The main focus of the sec. counsil was that if the insp. went back, and they allowed U2 flights, and scientist interviews, things would be going in the right direction. Basically Iraq has given the bare minimum once again to save themselves an ass kicking for the time being.
