So after 28 years of bliss the relationship with my tonsils has finally gone south and we've decided to part ways. They've always dreamed of making it as a comedy act in Vegas and me, well i'm happy right where i am. So instead of standing in their way i've conceded to their wishes and they are being cut out of me on Tuesday. So in all seriousness, how much pain and what kind of recovery am i looking at here? I'm only seeing the Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist who'll do the surgery on Monday so i can't ask him and the suspense is killing me! (I'm 28 if that makes any difference) Thanks

1. get my hands near the rears and start scanning for traffic 2. unclip my wings 3. turn off my camera 4. loosen chest strap 5. stow slider 6. quick canopy check, all lines attached, etc. 7. release toggles, climb on the brakes and fly back to dz I'm 99 times out of 100 the last sport canopy to open as my TI and i often leave the aircraft last.
