  1. Use a Flash My HO. Arvel BSBD...........Its all about Respect, USPA#-7062, FB-2197, Outlaw 499
  2. Long ago in place far far away (Germany) I had a first generation Unit in a SST Racer that had a single "Frap Strap" that closed the main at the stabilizers with a single stow, then I would S-fold the lines into the container, S-fold the main in the pack tray (right to left) close 1-2-3, S-fold pilot chute on that mess, and close with a Pud. I recall some VERY fast openings!!! I was young, dumb, and full of BEER!!!!!!! Thank God I lived through all those OLD days!! 3. Your best option is to use a FTP. It will be much cleaner, better functionally, and safer too. Just MHO. Stay safe, Arvel BSBD...........Its all about Respect, USPA#-7062, FB-2197, Outlaw 499
  4. I was (still am) in Iraq fixing a 10kw AM transmitter Its all good, I will ge home this year
  5. At Raeford, our is "Beer is Good for You" by David Allen Coe!! (not sure of the spelling) When the "Beer Light" is turned on, the song is played nice and load!!! Good Times
  6. No bungee needed with the GM (IMHO), it is very secure!! The holes can be finished with some two-sided rubber gaskets/washers from the local hardware store (just find the size for the hole you have made). Don't be afraid to ask your local camera Pro's at your DZ. Stay safe, Arvel BSBD...........Its all about Respect, USPA#-7062, FB-2197, Outlaw 499
  7. Great Points Dave!! I always stay put until I see the drouge take off and then I am back tracking like a banchy!!!!! I get a lot of shots of my feet in the lower frame of most shots, some folks think it looks cool, Again, the key for me is that I am thinking just a little ahead of what stage they are in, here comes the pull, prep to track, there goes drouge, HIT IT, TRACK MoFo-TRACK MoFo!!!!
  8. Yep, my goal in life is to jump forever, share the love and the (my) secrets to longevity in the sport. You may choose to use them or not, your call, but at least keep an open mind and be willing to listen and share. Stay Safe!! 9. I could not agree more!!!!! This premature deployment situation is always on my mind when I film any RW group (XX # of AAD's, BOC's weak, etc.)!!! Also another reason I do NOT use an AAD and I do use a POP!! My OLD Guy 2 cents!! Arvel BSBD...........Its all about Respect, USPA#-7062, FB-2197, Outlaw 499
  10. Don't forget, if you are directly under them, you are in their air, and the trap door will be excentuated!! A good TM-M wave off, pause prior to pull (to allow Videit to escape), then the pull is a better way to have it happen. We all no that it is not a perfect world, SHIT Happens, but if we all think ahead just a few seconds, then we can anticipate the next move. TM-M to Videit communication is KEY!! Eye-to-Eye, clear goggles, blah...blah......blah Stay safe, get the shot, and wipe the snot!!! Arvel Out BSBD...........Its all about Respect, USPA#-7062, FB-2197, Outlaw 499

  19. Dude....I know what you mean...........I thought long and hard about getting her the suit. She now has over 250 jumps, not that many I know, but she has done more than I thought she would be able to do at this stage. If not for all the locals that coach her and tell me how well she has been doing, I would not believe it myself. I take full responsibility (she is only 17). Have fun kiddo!! Arvel BSBD...........Its all about Respect, USPA#-7062, FB-2197, Outlaw 499
  20. Stevo, the DZ provides the editor, CD/DVDs and all the equipment to make the products. I drop off a tape, and burn the pictures on a standalone cardreader/CD burner. Not a bad deal at all. Arvel BSBD...........Its all about Respect, USPA#-7062, FB-2197, Outlaw 499
  21. Here at Raeford, we make $30 for TM video and if you sell the Digital stills they add $10 for a total of $40. Before taxes of course!! Arvel BSBD...........Its all about Respect, USPA#-7062, FB-2197, Outlaw 499
  22. Yea, we missed you!! Tony and I were last men standing at the fire (then I fell, one hand with beer the other in a pocket). Anyway, thats what I hear happened............like I remember........
