  1. I think what you should take away from this thread is that you've hit on probably the biggest point of contention on DZ.com. With the possible exception of whether God exists and if he does if he likes guns... or gay people. You should listen to all of us then go find someone you trust and knows you. There are no hard fast rules only opinions. None of these people know you, find someone who does that you trust. CK is a good place to be for finding experienced ppl. PEACE! 5. What NickDG said. If I've got the wind at my back I get BIG and go into deep breaks. If into the wind Rears and get small. What I learned when I was new, and it has saved me from myself several times, was that if there was a question in my mind about weather I could make it back or not, I should bust a 360... thereby assuring that I couldn't get back. Then I do what I should have been doing the whole time and look for a good out. Flying yourself into a corner to save yourself some walk time is bad. Just my $0.02... PEACE! 9. You Might Enjoy This…. SO I’m rough on my camera gear. Honestly I fly like it isn’t there, as some of the video I shoot can attest . To give you an idea how rough, check out the pics. I’ve gotten some fantastic video with this PC1000 but we both knew it’s days were numbered. At the end of August I chowed at Skydive Oregon, in Molalla, the PC1000 gave up the ghost… I pulled the battery as quick as I could but the camera was under water. I opened the tape compartment and poured water back into the pond. You could see inside the lens was half full of water, I just left it for several days. I put a battery in the camera and plugged it into the wall. When I turned the camera on, it actually turned on! It wouldn’t focus, I could see condensation inside the lens. It was giving me Error Code E61:00 on the screen, I had a chat with Sony Tec-support. I asked what Error Code E61:00 was, she checked something that took her a good minute, minute and a half. When she came back she told me that, “that code means there is something wrong inside the camera”…I shit you not that was what she said! I asked, ”Are you fucking with me?” while laughing and she didn’t think it was funny but hell, she wasn’t that bright either so I was able to take the blow. To further test our new relationship I asked how much it would be to look at it…$450.00. Oh well, time to look at the CX12. \ So I turned on my camera tonight and… it works perfectly, records, plays, focuses, I can capture video to and from it, everything works, I love my camera. 14. Ok...good come back! You do make some good points. I disagree that you are not the government though, you are the government of U.S. at least a part of it. Certainly our attitudes can effect what laws are written and how those laws are applied. How you think can effect change for good or bad in the people around you, which is how laws get changed (or is that logic flawed?). I feel they are guilty as well, and if they are convicted I'll be hopeful they can't hurt anyone else. I hope the police dispassionately pursue the facts and evidence in this case without assuming they are guilty. It's hard to do but it tends to get closer to the truth....and build a better case. As for respecting jump numbers...I couldn't care less. I just respect people who tell me who they are. 15. Why yes I do have the gall...as you cower behind your anonymous profile and say incredibly stupid shit like... Wow, you are just passionate about giving the benefit of the doubt to these scumbags, no matter how minuscule the justification for doing so grows, aren'tcha? Unimpressed I just don't think it's likely that the cops were flippant in taking this kid into custody; I don't think they someone mistakenly came to believe it was his semen in the condom found in the victim's home; I don't think that he was one of a herd of what, 8 others who were forced at gunpoint to rape and mutilate a woman and her young son (who was forced to have sex with his mother, according to a new story in The Palm Beach Post), by some all-powerful 18-year-old dreadlocked piece of shit. What kind of crow will you eat when this is all hashed out and all 10 of these pieces of shit are found guilty? I'll put $100 on it. You see, I have a problem with those who wish to convict without a trial. Your statement implies that those of us that demand that the process be followed somehow will be disappointed once the verdict is read shows a lack of understanding about the way things are supposed to work... So take you $100 and your anonymous indignation and shove it up your ass Faith in a holy cause is to a considerable extent a substitute for lost faith in ourselves. -Eric Hoffer - Check out these Videos
