  1. Back off Dog! They're mine.....all mine........ I'm telling mom......
  2. Hey, any time you need help with that PMS site, you just let me know!!!!
  3. http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/153/PH0157.jpg BTW, Santa's not real either......dammit! For the record the one you posted is not her real bum but the one she just posted is. She had Chopchop take it the other night. If you look at them side by side you'll see the small differences. The prof. one is a bit rounder and tone but not by much and the comforter she's laying on truely is chopchops. I've slept in it...uh not with him though. with someone else... No it wasn't his plaything. oh nevermind. Okay, you *forced* me to study each very carefully. You're right. Different butts. Both very nice.

  5. I looked this morning and couldn't find it either.
  6. Just got mine. Ohio. SKYDVE 1
  7. I have used them and I like them. I use and like small rubber bands too. A friend of mine had a bag lock using Super Bandz (I was there and know this from first-hand experience - not urban legend) but he had double wrapped the locking stows, so that's what we attributed the bag lock to.
  8. I'd put it at $2,100 to $2,600 depending on the actual condition.
  9. You've got the right idea. I use a small phillips head screwdriver to get the hole started (it's more like pushing the threads aside than actually poking a hole in it), then get the screw started. Placing the hand mount over the Digitude will help you poke the holes in the right places. I like to do one screw at a time (poke the hole and thread that screw before doing the next one).
  10. The seller seems a little challenged by the English language, so maybe he or she just needs a little editorial help? Or it's hot gear.
  11. Well, he got $255 for it. I hope the buyer knows what he's doing.
  12. Just a heads up in case you're looking at the Reflex container listed on ebay as item 3634610835. The owner listed the main and the reserve as separate items, and included the reserve freebag (and attached bridle and pilot chute) with the reserve. I don't remember if he included the risers, d-bag, bridle, and pilot chute for the main with the main, but it would not surprise me. Anyway, the container is not a complete container, and I don't think the seller knows any better (although I tried to tell him and got no response).
  13. I agree with everything the Bytch said (as usual, and who wouldn't?). Based on recent sales, I'd put the value at $2,200 to $2,500 depending on the overall condition. I can break that down by component if that would be of any interest. I'd totally agree that the main seems way too small for that container, unless the container has been modified to take the 190.
  14. For $200 I'd expect the canopy to have at least 500 jumps on it and no risers. If risers were included in the $200, then I'd expect at least 600 jumps on the canopy. I think the only real issue here (other than not getting what you thought you were getting - which is not a small issue) is whether or not you like the color. Does it need new lines?
  15. Airtec recommends (in other words, does not require) that the batteries be replaced if they will expire before the next repack. I always check the date and the voltage, and give the owner the option. I typically have no idea how many jumps are on the batteries, so the 500-jump limit is up to the owner to monitor in my book.
  16. I pulled it with what would have been a full extension had the seal not jammed. Once it hung up, I did not apply further force to see if the thread would break (I was not interested in seeing if I could damage the housing). I don't know if it would have broken or not (I did think about that).
  17. Or add it to your JumpTrack records........
  18. I repacked a reserve last night that had previously been repacked in Germany. When I opened the flap, I noticed that the thread on the seal was routed in a way I had not seen before. I now wish that I had taken a picture of it so I wouldn't have to try to describe it. It appeared that it was tied off normally when it came to the first attachment to the cable. The loop was routed around the pin in the normal way, except that the thread did not pass through the seal. The thread was then tied off at the initial point of attachment. Next, the thread was routed through the seal and then tied off above the point of the first attachment. In other words, coming from the handle end, you'd find a tie-off (the second of the two extra ones), the seal, another tie-off (the normal one that is done first plus the first of the two extra ones), followed by the loop that goes around the pin (where you would normally find the seal). If you cannot visualize this, I may have to recreate it. Anyway, the problem was that when I pulled the release handle, the pin cleared the closing loop and released the reserve but the seal, which was still firmly attached to the cable, jammed in the cable housing and stopped the pin between the two guide rings (it was a Javelin). If there had been an RSL and the handles had been pulled at the same time or close to it, the RSL would not have been able to clear, creating an obvious problem. Has anyone ever seen this method of routing the thread when sealing a reserve before? Was this problem (the seal jamming the cable by getting stuck in the cable housing) just a fluke?
  19. I don't know about the houseless part, but everything else sounds good!!
  20. Gee, I gotta get out more. Where do you jump again?
  21. Sounds to me like your timing is perfect (in terms of the move). I just turned the air off and the furnace on here in Ohio. You know what that means. Snow can't be far away.
  22. Welcome to the sport! Like everyone else here, you'll soon have all of your priorities rearranged so that skydiving comes first (or pretty darn close).
  23. Better add ProTrack, JumpTrack, and Pro-Dytter to the list (not necessarily in that order). And grab a packing tool at some point.
