Ratings and Rigging

  • Pro Rating
    Yes
  1. Dude, flying a razor blade doesn't sound like a wise thing to do. Someone or you funnel out and that damn thing hits flesh, say goodbye to some serious skin or worse. Personally, I wouldn't jump with you with that helmet on. Buy and fly gear that's as safe as it can be. MY 2 cents. Party like it's $19.99
  2. I do mostly belly but have had varying success in a sit. Looking at winds aloft on those days seems obvious NOW that higher winds aloft greatly effects stability. An observation, opinions? Party like it's $19.99
  3. I'm cheap, therefore, I've bought and sold many, many items on CL. Great site and the originator still operates the company out of his home in Cali, with a staff of 20 or so and was offered around a billion for the company. He said no thanks. Good site. Party like it's $19.99
  4. In Virginia, Dial 911, Make a cop cum! Party like it's $19.99
  5. Bullshit, The only thing that's changed is corporate profit and the political climate. Party like it's $19.99
  6. Official monthly required aviation reports from all Naval/Marine units. TFOA, Things Falling Off Aircraft. Biggest I've ever seen was an overwing fairing from an F-14B, about 160 lbs. Hate to be under that one. Party like it's $19.99
  7. Hell, If my memory serves me correctly they had this process down pat back in say, the late 60's and early 70's. Seems odd to me it will take 15+- years to get to the moon this time when it only took 9+ years 40 years ago. I guess divvying out all that government money takes much longer these days. Sad state of present day reality. Party like it's $19.99
  8. Emery Riddle in Daytona Beach, Florida is a top notch school. I know several people who have attended. As a bonus they have a skydiving club who regularly jump into the campus. Peace, Michael http://www.erau.edu Party like it's $19.99
  9. Update Went to the doc, looks like the epididymis has to come out vs the testicle. Better news by far; although, the tumor could still be cancerous, at least the testicle shows no signs of abnormal growth. Looks like May 7th it comes out. Doc says I should take a month off jumping but could be sooner. Any input Bones? Peace. Party like it's $19.99
  10. I want to say thanks to everyone for their concern and good vibes. As I said, done a lot of reading and even if it's worse than we all hope for, the survival rate is good. I'll know more this upcoming Monday and I'll post the verdict. In the mean time, lets get JUMPING!!! Peace Party like it's $19.99
  11. Hi all, I'm the proud owner of a recently diagnosed tumor/on my righty. Done the ultrasound, not a cyst. Urologist next Monday for further tests, etc.. Done some med searches and get an idea of the medical side but would like to know if anyone has experienced the same and what should I expect..Thanks Party like it's $19.99
  12. I have a friend who has three (3) Harley's, only rides them on sunny, warm days and trailers them each year to Daytona. Talk about expensive. Personally, if you want to jump, spend them money, have fun and don't count. Party like it's $19.99
  13. Simple, search DZ adds, if nothing complete, part it up. 3 to 3.5 thousand should buy a very nice rig. I've bought two rigs off DZ, no problems. Party like it's $19.99

    Gardening

Not knowing your local climate but what is your annual rainfall totals and do you capture the rainwater that falls on your home? This free water can make an amazing difference in your abilities to produce, produce and or ornamentals. By far the best financial investment you can make if you want to have a successful garden. Also, constructing, simple to complex, a method to deploy shade cloth to cover will reduce the need for water. My two cents. Peace. Party like it's $19.99
  15. Six Sigma sux, it seems to have been developed by someone who lives in a bubble, or a cave with no real experience at the bottom of the heap. The concepts are well intentioned, but like everything else, the bottom line should be cost savings and safety improvements from bottom to top and top to bottom. That NEVER happened at Raytheon wher I worked for 7 years. I was six sigma certified. Endless meetings, go nowhere projects. You can even become a Six Sigma "black belt" a so called expert. That's the title of an old girlfriend at Kodak. SS meetings were the most wasteful hours I spent at work. Damn glad to have left and the BS programs like this was one of the reasons. My two cents.
