Wow, great site! I've downloaded 6.05, love the mouse gestures.
-
I'll check it out. Is it opera.com?
-
What is it about Opera that makes it better than Mozilla? I'm just wondering, beacause I use Mozilla so I can block pop-ups.

A priest, a rabbi and a minister walk into a bar. The bartender looks up and says "Hey, is this a joke?"
-
Haven't tried it, but I did taste a hemp microbrew made by a local brewer. It was positively AWFUL!!! Tasted like a wet rope.
-
FUNNY!!! I right-clicked it and the animation started.

Let's continue in IM

It's the company mail I'm trying to filter. I'm getting about 150 spams each day. I edit my junk senders file to block domains, but they keep coming anyway. What's going on in beautiful downtown Rockville?
-
Yeah, I found out about the forged addresses. That would be bad news for the folks whose servers have been used to relay the garbage. I do block certain domains, but the onslaught continues. I will look into Spamhaus, thanks for the suggestion. BTW, your website told me I'm using Netscape, when in fact it's Mozilla. Thought you'd like to know.

Great idea. You could call it something catchy and easy to remember, like theburble.com.

Let's put it this way: I'm so old, when I went to school they weren't teaching history yet.
-
Oh oh, how much money did you send them?

I would like to see the code. I'm sick of the RC minicar ads, the Nigerian scams, and NO, I do NOT need to increase my size!!!!

Sounded too good to be true
-
Well, if they bring enough of the little critters home, you can cook up a heck of a jambalaya!

There are birds amd mice in your living room?

I was told that entering the following code in a web page will make email-addie-gathering programs spam themselves. Anybody know if it's true?

A Police officer stopped an Amish woman driving her buggy."I'm not going to cite you," said the officer. "I just wanted to warn you that the reflector on the back of your buggy is broken and it could be dangerous. "I thank thee," replied the Amish lady. "I shall have my husband repair it as soon as I return home." "Also, " said the officer, "I noticed one of your reins to your horse is wrapped around his testicles. Some people might consider this cruelty to animals, so you should have your husband check that too." "Again I thank thee. I shall have my husband check both when I get home. "True to her word, when the Amish lady got home, she told her husband about the broken reflector. He said he would put a new one on immediately. "Also," said the Amish woman, "the policeman said you should check the emergency brake."

Sniper victims families' suing manufactuer and store
sharpfive replied to prepheckt's topic in The Bonfire
Yeah, according to the news (and we know they ALWAYS get it right) the dealer can't account for a couple hundred weapons that passed through his store. He should be in big trouble regardless of the sniper incident. -

Five of those murders happened within 10 miles of my house. The whole time all that was going on NOBODY I know ever thought to blame the gun manufacturer. But this is the American way, allowing lawyers to fleece the innocent in time of tragedy. BTW, you know that after the scumbags were apprehended, the lawyer for the little bastard that fired the weapon complained that his jail cell was too small???? Is this a great country, or what? -
I think we have to accept that we aren't insulated from that kind of sentiment just because we are a tight knit "community." The skydiving world is made up of all kinds of people just like the whuffo world. It's inconceivable that our sport, or an online community would attract only open minded and tolerant people. I have witnessed overt, repulsive acts of racism on the DZ a number of times. There's nothing much one can do about it other than expressing disgust. Arguing with those types only encourages them.

In that case, that $24.95 Norton renewal was money well spent!

OK, how about an E9#5, then?
